Outstanding! Most of this would be virtually indistinguishable from a real orchestra performance. How well do scale runs and fast arpeggios work? Would like to hear how realistic they can get :)
It's a combination of multiple SWAM istances + a sample sound. You can check from our friends at NextMidi ruclips.net/p/PL9nEih0rpZ3kW5qjm3kvoMe-xJkLW6_m2
I am blown away. I would like to purchase swam bundle with divisimate. Would like to use it for ensembles. I have a mac with 32 gb and 6 core. Will I be able to record without latency problem.
sherwin perryman zero latency is impossible to achieve, especially with such CPU power required. With your system it is feasible to play the Orchestral template shown here using a buffer size of 512 samples @ 44100 Hz
Hello again. I am a keyboard player. What is the best expression controllers for swam? Any combination that you guys suggest. I was looking at the expressive e touche looks cool. Also how does swam handle staccato style of play and is there any videos.
sherwin perryman there is not “the best expression controller”, it really depends on what’s the best way you express yourself through your body. Some users prefer a breath controller because they master expressivity through the breath control, some users opt for the Leap Motion, some others for a Modulation Wheel, someone prefer an Expression pedal (our CEO, for example). The Touché is a great controller too. As for staccato, it is really simple and natural: just detach notes and control the attack strength by note-on velocity. Amazing ! How does Divisimate behave in terms of processing power ? If I understand well, it basically stacks up instances of SWAM... How much of a beast computer do we need to operate this ?
Divisimate load on CPU is extremely LOW, it's just a "smart" MIDI router. What's demanding in term of CPU power is how many SWAM instruments you play at the same time. To play an entire orchestra you need a powerful machine, indeed: an i7 or i9 processor with a good L2 cache and 64 GB RAM.
I really like the swam Imost definitely want to purchase this. I just bought mac mini computer I got 32 gb ram and 6 core processor. I would like to do some ensemble strings. Would that be a problem. I saw that you guys recommended 64 gb ram.
Ok so I finally purchased swam. Now I know aliens are real and you guys are working with them, somebody call the police because swam is a Bad. I was up up 3:00 am playing when I had to go to work for 6:30. Its lots of fun. I heard you guys are working on an upgrade (Ensemble) that will take this thing to another level. Can you guys please also ad a tempo sync to the tremelo that will be something special. I have two questions 1. Is there any estimate time to this release? 1 month, late this year maybe next year a heads up will be nice. 2: I'm a musician. I have installed swam on my home computer and I use to record music it's not leaving my house can I install on my laptop for when I'm out on the road on stage.
Hi Sherwin Perryman! Thanks for your feedback! SWAM Ensemble are planned for end of 2021, unless we will find technical difficulties. As for Tremolo: it is already synchronized to BPM (i.e. DAW playhead) as long as you select Options -> "Tremolo Mode" = "Sync" or "Sync Accent"
I got it and it's the software I have been dreaming of for the past few years.
agreed x been waiting a long time for this
WOW this is some kind of wizardry.
Indeed :-)
Mindblowingly great....
WOW. OMG I need this! 5hat woodwind section was the final nail!
Sweet torment these sounds. Audio modeling is simply magical
Wow!!!
Great cooperation. 🍻

Thanks Chandan! If you mean played in realtime, we do not have a video showing it.

Hi what vst did u use for strings u just combined the swam solo strings to get essemble sound?
It's a combination of multiple SWAM istances + a sample sound. You can check from our friends at NextMidi ruclips.net/p/PL9nEih0rpZ3kW5qjm3kvoMe-xJkLW6_m2
Are you using the tablet just for changing programs or also as tone generator?
The tablet is just a remote controller for switching between configurations
I love it, but it’s highlighted weaknesses in Logic Pro x. Had to go back to using reason 11
This guy is fire

He uses the breatg control also for the strings
Amazing !
