+Chiara Andrighetto I would have said I'm more Cinderella seeing as Celinde's hair is WAAAAYYYY longer and straighter than mine! Haha! Saying that I'm probably more Merida! xxx
I'd say choice in general is something we don't appreciate enough. I have the ability to choose almost everything in my life and I completely take it for granted.
+Ruth Chesterton I'm quite envious right now! My only issue with London is the 2/3 hour train journey which costs so much! Christmas is coming though...
Wow that's a long way! Luckily, I'm only an hour away on the train but it still costs a fortune so I dread to think what it costs you! I've seen phantom a couple of times over the years but Celinde is my favourite😍i would love to be able to sing like her...
+Ruth Chesterton Put it in perspective, I have to cross a sea to go to London ;) (I'm from The Netherlands) I'm saving though to go see Phantom & Les Mis :D I hope you'll be able to see Phantom :)
+jazzyrobot I know! I was unhealthy obsessed with it for a few months, it was all I would listen to. Also makes me wish I could sing, such an amazing skill to have. I actually saw Phantom literally a month before Celinde joined the cast, can you imagine if I'd seen her instead?! Would be going crazy right now!
Things people take for granted: the air we breathe, the fact most of us sleep in a bed, your education, your dreams and wishes, that extra-curricular thing your parents wanted you to do as a child, the hard work of people in the NHS, police and fire services, time, money, our connections with friends, family, knowing the difference between right and wrong, not listening to people who give advice, never feeling like we're good at something and comparing our abilities, food, clean water, clothes, memories.
I love Celinde so much, she's so talented and such a nice person. Loved her in Les Mis and she's amazing as Christine too. You too are great Carrie, keep those videos coming! xx
People take role models like you guys for granted. People (me included) sometimes forget how much Carrie and celinde influence our lives for the better. Take a tiny example of how I started watching your videos and now tangled is my favourite Disney movie! Or how you have taught me to truly be me and embrace who that i I have flaws and there is no problem with that! They make me who I am! Without you I would not be as happy as I am right now 😊😊 thank you xxxx
I had no idea Celinde was now playing Christine in TFOTO, but the moment you said it I was like OMG YES, THAT'S JUST SO RIGHT! She suits the role so much!
+Farah Ch I hate plastic bags. I don't understand why people can't just have a few bags at home and use them when they go shopping. What we also use for granted...clean environment, water, clean air, species that will eventually die because we use so much plastic. Just don't use it...it's so easy not to.
Her majesty's is such a beautiful theatre, I performed there twice and when you stand on the side of the stage you look up and you can see all the phantom props. I really want to go back and watch phantom, because the theatre is so beautiful and phantom is wonderful
Wow I'm trying to imagine what life would be like without sight, I can't imagine what not knowing what colors looked like, and not seeing people faces. This may be too personal to tell a random person on the Internet but have you always been blind?
Sometimes I think I may take my friends for granted cuz they've been helping me through my depression and they could choose not to be my friends. But they choose to be my friends. I love them.
+amyamyamy17 Wow, Amyamyamy17, way to take language for granted ;) lol jk I think there's a big enough distinction to merit its own category. Internet and phones are a relatively new invention. There was language and communication before those things. And no matter how far back you go in history of human beings there is some form of communication. And that is pretty spectacular. AndreaMGC Yeah but if that's the case then we should also understand that we take thumbs for granted. And two front-facing eyes, so we have depth perception. We take for granted that evolution allowed our species to flourish on this particular planet during this particular epoch. We take for granted that someone figured out how to make glass and plastic and how to use metal to our benefit. My point about communication is that it's not specific to humans. I suppose we take it for granted, but if we didn't, there really wouldn't be time for much else. :)
This video is the best! It's so true. I always forget about illnesses, like being happy for not having something as simple as a bad headache which stops you from doing what you want but it's just something you forget to appreciate when you are healthy.
That's mad, I literally went to see Phantom of the Opera in Her Majesty's Theater like a month before Celinde joined the cast. I can't express how weird but wonderful it would have been if I had actually seen her in it and then found this, would have blown my mind. Wish I had been able to see the orchestra when I went though, would have made it extra amazing. I could see the pianists in their little booth and ended up watching them a lot more than I probably should have! I was one of the last to leave when it ended because I could finally stand up and see the orchestra who kept playing for about five minutes and that was defiantly a highlight for me, actually SEEING that amazing music being created right in front of me. I'm about to fall back down the Phantom hole, see everyone in a few days after looping soundtrack 15 times...
The majority of my university's library is online (as well as in hard copy) which makes researching essays and reports so much easier. My university also has access to the biggest database of any university in the Southern hemisphere. I definitely take those things for granted and get so annoyed when a journal article I want is only in hard copy.
Books being printed! I work in a bookshop and totally take ow all of our stock got there for granted. Sometimes I just think about all of different ways we've made books over the years, and now we can have thousands made then shipped off everywhere, rather than just a handful of copies.
Ahh Celinde's voice though! It's like hearing an angel! I went to see the phantom of the opera in January of this year and I'm sad I never got to see Celinde in it :( but I'm going to see Les Mis this month 😃
+Katie Williamson Would love to see Les Mis! I only got into it after the film came out but completely fell in love with the music. If I lived in England I'd be going to a lot more musicals, we don't have a huge amount here in Ireland and when they are here I never find out about them in time. Missed 'Once' just there, the tickets we most expensive then I thought they'd be so couldn't go unfortunately :(
India Heath that's such a shame :( I actually live in Newcastle but my sister lives in London so I'm lucky enough to be able to see west end shows once or twice a year. I only got into Les Mis after the film too and can't believe I didn't hear the music or story earlier, it's 100% my favourite musical now and always will be!
Walking!! After being on crutches for 8 weeks and in a wheelchair on and off; for me walking is something that I now seriously take for granted, the ability to now get myself from place to place without running out of breath or being able to carry things from one place to another is something I always just did as normal. I had to carry things around with my teeth or get someone to do it for me, getting out of breath just by standing is very difficult. I was only like that for 8 weeks so I fully respect and applaud anyone who has to be in a wheelchair or on crutches 24/7 because its not easy and you guys deserve so much credit!!! Lots of love hopefuls xxx
Carrie, as you know I am disabled and have various illnesses. Before I got ill, I definitely took everyday life for granted. Just being able to do things like clean my teeth everyday, showering every other day, eating using normal sized cutlery, walking to the loo, getting upstairs, the list is endless. Now I hardly take much for granted. If I manage anything, I always congratulate myself. Be thankful for everyday life! :) big love xxx
This is so true! I also think food is something people really take for granted. For some people it is so hard to come by but for us you just go to the grocery store and people throw away half the food they eat anyway. That's just one thing but there are so many others too!! Such a great video :)
I performed a couple of years ago at Her Majesty's Theatre for a day with a load of dance schools, and it was an amazing experience to perform on a West End stage. Soon I also get a chance to perform at Royal Albert Hall for a day in a few months as well!!! But I wish I could be performing on stage every night like you guys xx
I've watched a couple of videos on many different channels today and it SO NICE to scroll down and see lovely comments and people helping each other and being kind. I take Carrie and you wonderful hopefuls reading this for granted!
2020 edition: our health. our lives. having the proper supplies/equipment/staffing at work (nyc hospital) seeing loved ones cleaning products, toilet paper, SOAP!, fresh vegetables, certain vitamins/otc meds, etc etc.... frequently using hand sanitizer like it comes out of the faucet traveling freely knowing if you needed to be hospitalized they would be equipped to take care of you I can go on.... but the moral of the story is we take SO much for granted everyday & it all can be taken away at an instant. be grateful for everyday you're alive and whatever you have, however limited it may be.
Our washing machine is currently broken, definitely took that for granted. And after finally receiving a new WORKING fridge, and no longer having to buy meals everyday, it is SO amazing to have a working box of cold air that actually provides us with cold milk! It's insane.
Since becoming a biology student ive really realised how much i take my boy for granted. Every single cell in our body will go through so much work every single day just to keep us alive. Theres so many things going on in the body all the time that we dont know about, all our bodies want to do is keep us alive and i think we forget that sometimes.
that little snippet of Bare Necessities is a lovely way to end a video. if you ever wanted an ending bit that didn't change I think that'd be a very nice choice.
I always make it a point to not take things for granted. I look at random things and think, "wow how many people aren't as lucky as I am right now?" A roof over my head, a warm bed, loving parents, clean clothes, health, the fact I can go to school, my own phone, computer, money to spend on basically what I want...always be grateful, otherwise you might regret it
What a way to end a video! I can't wait to see Celinde as Christine I bet she's beautiful in the role. Need to see you a few more times as Eponine as well Carrie! xx
I definitely take technology for granted too. Easy long-distance communication is literally the only way I'm able to stay in-touch with some of the most important people in my life! It's nice to pause and remember to be thankful for that :)
I take listening to music for granted. I remember someone saying to me the other day, "You know what's weird? If we lived in in the 1500s or something like that, we would only be listening to our favourite songs once or twice a year" and I kinda laughed at that (because she randomly brought it up out of nowhere) but after thinking about it, that's so freakin true! You would only ever be able to listen to a song if it was preformed by the person who wrote and produced it! So if I wanted to hear Beethoven's music, I'd actually have to go and hear Beethoven play live for myself. AND EVEN THEN that's assuming I would have had the money and the transport needed at hand in order to go at all. God, I take music way too much for granted.
We take our lives for granted. Just think it will never be this exact second on this exact day, in this exact year again and no one else will ever see something they way you do or at the same angle you see it at.
I always try not to take stuff for granted but I know that I do. Like on a Monday morning I dread going to school, but then I think at least I'm getting a good education in good clothes in a stable building. Also music, music is my life and I can tap a little piece of machinery and hear it whenever I want. That is amazing
I was getting distracted by all the beautiful Phantom costumes in the background! The cloak that Carrie wears at the end is so stunning. So happy for lovely Celinde that she gets to play Christine, one of my favourite roles. She's so pretty and such a great singer. :)
Fresh air is one thing we definitely take for granted until we don't have it - I'm from Singapore and we have had a haze situation that made our air more polluted that it was before.. Also, blue skies. Blue skies are amazing and it took me a semester abroad to realize how precious they are and how much they actually affect your mood for the day
This video is so so refreshing and positive and exciting! It really makes you think about all of these things that we never think about and find so annoying. In reality it's trivial and the world is full of such wonder and excitement.
I sometimes take my family for granted! When I was growing up and living at home, I didn't appreciate them as much as I do now. Now being that I am over seas, I find myself missing them so very much and have realised I definitley took them for granted when,I was younger! xx
I often find that people take the state of peace in their countries for granted. This is from the point of view of someone who has lived her entire life in the middle east, where it's almost never sunshine and rainbows (and lately even more so), and I see friends and just people abroad who absolutely take it for granted. Generally, being safe; some people have just never had it any other way. It's so easy to just take that for granted.
I watched Phantom on the day you recorded this and had a little moment of joyfulness realizing that you would see each other the same day I saw Celinde!
Ahhh I love this video!!! Please film more with Celinde!! And I guess your videos are something I take for granted too, and how happy they make me! xxx
England's transport is so good, I went there for 5 weeks and I miss the trains so much, I fell in love with them because I had the ability to get wherever I wanted so fast, in my country we have a few trains, and mainly buses which come once every 2 hours and that's if they decide to show up at all, and they have never not once been on time
One thing ive always appreciated is times when i dont have a runny nose like omf i hATE HAVING A RUNNY NOSE SO MUCH and so sometimes I catch myself thinking 'i'm so glad i don't have a runny nose'
It's like I am watching Rapunzel and Cinderella
It really is.
+itsjustbreezy who's Cinderella and who's Rapunzel
+Kennedi Kelser Celinde=Cinderella, Carrie=Rapunzel
Chiara Andrighetto I agree
+Chiara Andrighetto I would have said I'm more Cinderella seeing as Celinde's hair is WAAAAYYYY longer and straighter than mine! Haha! Saying that I'm probably more Merida! xxx
Friends: they're people we just meet and decide we want to keep talking to and have in our lives, if you take a step back that is the weirdest thing
+Thefeminist Hobbit wow
love your name
+Kate Mc Gowan thank you :)
I'd say choice in general is something we don't appreciate enough. I have the ability to choose almost everything in my life and I completely take it for granted.
Also, indoor plumbing.
Anna Kendrick said it right, "if I touch my phone in the right places pizza will appear at my door."
oh my god Celinde singing "wishing you were somehow here again" gave me chills, i LOVE the phantom of the opera and that was just magical
Oh my goodness. That one line from Celinde at the end there has completely given me the desire to see Phantom!
Do it! I saw her last week and she is absolutely incredible as Christine! Xx

I love Celinde so much, she's so talented and such a nice person. Loved her in Les Mis and she's amazing as Christine too. You too are great Carrie, keep those videos coming! xx
I got excited just seeing the cape!
+Beckie0 Hang on - did you shoot the opening after dying and waiting for the epilogue!?
When I get a blocked nose I sit and think about the times when I didn't have a blocked nose and how I took it for granted
I love it when you and Celinde are together! You're both so happy together and that makes me happy 😊
People take role models like you guys for granted. People (me included) sometimes forget how much Carrie and celinde influence our lives for the better. The way Carrie says shoes gives me life
Oh my god, Celinde just casually singing Phantom when Carrie put on the cloak broke me that was so beautiful, I am speechless.
Rewatching this video in 2020 and thinking about how I never thought I would take in-person classes/in-person interaction for granted.
I definitely took plastic bags for granted.. I think we all did :')
haha, nice
+Farah Ch YES!!
yeah. We did :(
+Farah Ch I hate plastic bags. I don't understand why people can't just have a few bags at home and use them when they go shopping. "It's like being in a show" I that was my favorite line in the video
CAPTURING TIME
+doddleoddle IT IS! I SWEAR! xxxx
Dodie and Carrie ☺️💜
I take being a twin for granted. I was given a friend from the moment I was born.
Her majesty's is such a beautiful theatre, I performed there twice and when you stand on the side of the stage you look up and you can see all the phantom props. I really want to go back and watch phantom, because the theatre is so beautiful and phantom is wonderful
People take sight for granted, take it from a blindie :) xxx
HOW DID YOU TYPE THIS?!?! :O))))
+Bethany Steele there's this thing called VoiceOver that reads everything on my screen. Google for more info :)
Wow I'm trying to imagine what life would be like without sight, I can't imagine what not knowing what colors looked like, and not seeing people faces. This may be too personal to tell a random person on the Internet but have you always been blind?
+Grace Marsh so does that mean that VoiceOver describe the movements of Carrie and Celinde?
+Medhi Taylor unfortunately not.
Sometimes I think I may take my friends for granted cuz they've been helping me through my depression and they could choose not to be my friends. But they choose to be my friends. I love them.
IM SO HAPPY THAT SHE'S CHRISTINE. SO HAPPY.
CELINE'S VOICE IS GOLD
Things we take for granted: language. Communication.
I believe that was covered with phones and Internet. Everything we do is some sort of communication. We couldn't not communicate if we tried.
I think being grateful for internet is being grateful for access to the world. Being thankful for language is being thankful for the nature of our species.
Every living creature communicates. Other animals, bugs, plants, even our individual cells are communicating with each other constantly just to keep us alive.
Yes, it's something that we don't have to think about and we don't necessarily feel grateful for, because it's innate. Without communication, the world wouldn't exist. I suppose we take it for granted, but if we didn't, there really wouldn't be time for much else. :)
amyamyamy17 :) we can still feel grateful given the larger scope.
Having friends and family that love you unconditionally is something I take for granted
i still think celinde looks like a prettier version of katie price
OMG, i was wondering who the hell she reminded me of
yes !! thank you !!
Sarah Freer anything is a prettier version of Katy price
oh my gosh that snip bit of somehow here again....my heartttttt …
Sometimes I realize that I take you for granted, Carrie.
Me too thank you for saying this! For all of us
This video is the best! It's so true. I always forget about illnesses, like being happy for not having something as simple as a bad headache which stops you from doing what you want but it's just something you forget to appreciate when you are healthy.
The tube thing is so funny. It's weird to think the tunnels, trains and stuff are made by humans. We are clever beasts :D x
That's mad, I literally went to see Phantom of the Opera in Her Majesty's Theater like a month before Celinde joined the cast. I saw Celinde early last month as Christine, she was absolutely incredible! Such a beautiful lady and a wonderful voice!
Love the subject of this video. Felt as if I was with you just chatting away. And I love Celinde, she's amazing! Love from Holland!
You two are both incredibly beautiful! And both your singing voices give me chills
It's so good to see Celinde again!
You two together is what gives me life!
I was so happy to see celinde, yay
The majority of my university's library is online (as well as in hard copy) which makes researching essays and reports so much easier. My university also has access to the biggest database of any university in the Southern hemisphere. Carries videos from this time period are my absolute comfort videos to watch when I don't feel well❤️
Thanks Carrie and Celinde, never thought of these :)
Always keeping me appreciative. Thank you Carrie.
Glad to see you two are still interacting. These are my favorite videos!
She has a great Phantom of the Opera voice. Love this video. I got very happy watching this.
Rewatching this during 2020! I took going to the theatre for granted. Miss theatre so much.
I love Carrie and Celinde and I love Les Mis and Phantom!!! Plus a great conversation! This makes me very happy

Celinde is insannnnnelyy pretty😱😱
+layla day She's a mermaid. xxx
+ItsWayPastMyBedTime She's an amazing Fontine for sure x
I'm so happy for Celinde!! How awesome!!
The lighting in this video is so gorge!
Ahh Celinde's voice though! It's like hearing an angel! I went to see the phantom of the opera in January of this year and I'm sad I never got to see Celinde in it :( but I'm going to see Les Mis this month 😃
She is an Angel of Music. Both of them are!
+Katie Williamson Would love to see Les Mis! I only got into it after the film came out but completely fell in love with the music. I love it when you guys make videos together, they're so enjoyable!
Also, Celinde's eye makeup is so nice here.
i've preformed in her majesty's theatre and had a tour of queens around Christmas time and saw the moving stage, both beautiful places Xx

I've watched a couple of videos on many different channels today and it SO NICE to scroll down and see lovely comments and people helping each other and being kind. I take Carrie and you wonderful hopefuls reading this for granted!
i love celinde so much, it's really cool to see someone from the same country as me actually making it happen! it makes me feel really proud and giddy
You never realise how much you take for granted until you take the time to think about it
Both of you are so beautiful! And both are amazing singers!. Also, I love Celinde's accent so much!!
I love how excited Carrie was to put on the cloak at the end!

our health. our lives.

Like on a Monday morning I dread going to school, but then I think at least I'm getting a good education in good clothes in a stable building. Also music, music is my life and I can tap a little piece of machinery and hear it whenever I want. That is amazing
The way Carrie said Nike at 3:19
I was getting distracted by all the beautiful Phantom costumes in the background!
Blue skies are amazing and it took me a semester abroad to realize how precious they are and how much they actually affect your mood for the day
I love seeing the two of you together.
I just spent the whole video admiring the Masquerade dress.
Same here😂
This video is so so refreshing and positive and exciting! It really makes you think about all of these things that we never think about and find so annoying. In reality it's trivial and the world is full of such wonder and excitement.
I love when you both collaborate!
And I guess your videos are something I take for granted too, and how happy they make me! xxx
Celindes makeup is absolutely stunning! Man, wish I was that good with makeup!
I used to take happiness for granted but seeing as I now seem to be sad very often ,I no longer take being happy for granted :)
Celinde singing at the end gave me chills 😍😍😍😍😍
Things I take for granted until I no longer have them: my favourite character being alive in my favorite shows
Family and friends is something i take for granted, and being healthy
OMG THE VAMPS I AM SO EXCITED MY FAVOURITE BAND AND RUclipsR IN THE SAME VIDEO
My super incredibly comfortable bed. Also, just the ability to speak and listen and understand. Just being is something to be grateful for.
OMG ITS CELINDE!!!! I can't imagine how much you miss her!
'Wishing you were somehow here again' was my grandpas funeral song. As soon as Celinde sang that, I thought, people take family for granted.
