It wasn't that hard to do. If you or someone you know has basic carpentry skills, you could build a signal body yourself. The lights, visors, and controller can be found on ebay. The most expensive part was the 2 color turn arrow. I got it brand new @ $50. You can find used ones for a little cheaper. The red, yellow, and green lights i got used @ $25 per light. The 4 visors were a littler over $20 each. The lumber was some old scrap i had laying around. The controller was about $30.
Cool, I will be working on a wooden signal too but it will be very different. I need for this to all pass over before I can get signal parts though (lenses and visors)
We never really gave her a name. We just called her "Kitten". She was a stray that showed up and never left. Sadly she passed away in February. She was about 14 years old.
That seems like a fun project. Now you need to build a robot rover that obeys the light.
I'm thinking about it.
Woahhh that's so cool thxs for showing us

omg did u build that? Thats cool 👍 cause my country need some we are lacking traffic lights 😂
Yeah i built it. I've made 2. Most of the pics in this video are from the second light. Both lights were identical to each other.
I would imagine that being at my house and it tells me stop or go 😆
How did you wire the bimodal green / yellow arrow ? Everytime i wire mine it blows fuse , thanks .
What is your cats name?
