test 7. FACEPLANT! (don't worry, he's fine)
I’m having a problem finding them
Wow, dude, that is so cool
That's Chapel Hill.
cool to see! Nice work.
Very cool. We should go for a hike sometime. I just moved to the area.
Mannn I’d love to get these!
I can't find them on Ebay
Do they take pictures and give you tickets
im from Kentucky and i see those signals all the time
You have a flashing yellow
3M Traffic Light four McCain Traffic Lights and 3M Doghouse Traffic Light
This is as interesting as the abandoned gap on South Monroe Street, or the abandoned road that looks like a former leg of South Patton Street to connect to Birch Road/Hill Street by the Bob Evans meat packing plant in Xenia Ohio.
The KYTC spec signal can be seen in temporary wire span intersections in Ohio. I've seen a couple before the US 35 Superstreet project was completed. And if you paint the cabinet of the signal to the left of it black, you'll get a signal like what you see in Dayton, Cincinnati or even Steubenville, Ohio.
Glad you told me. I may do that. I will make more vids on my signals, but it may be spring before I do. Life is busy lately. Thanks for the info.
You're welcome. Have you ever been around the US 29/601 junction in Kannapolis North Carolina? The reason I asked was because it has these very interesting flashing yellow arrow signals (A right turn version of the eagle Siemens you have.)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome they sell traffic lights an eBay

Wow that's that's nice 🙂
Wow that's amazing man

Original 4 section Trapezoid Flatback with it's original cloth wires. The jewel of my collection.
It came from Missouri
Nice
😎That’s awesome dude!! I’m willing to buy pedestrian signals and traffic lights that I saw as a kid in the early 2000s to complete my childhood and willing to make displays. (I like pedestrian signals more) and I have one ICC ped signal that I got on eBay a couple years ago for Christmas so that’s a start. where I live, I used to see all kinds of different signals like lots of different brands, different shades of green and yellow. Ten years ago they replaced half the state with yellow econolite signals but kept the original poles/posts like I feel like they could have replaced the incandescent inserts with led modules instead.. but yea I miss the 2000s aesthetic as far as traffic lights..
Honestly this could be a really funny TikTok if you posted it
wow
they had those in colorado
Quite late to comment but the CH heads are actually Chapel Hill.
How did you wire the bimodal green / yellow arrow ? Everytime i wire mine it blows fuse , thanks .
Do you know of anyone that sells miniature models with a flash mode option? I have a family member who is intrigued by traffic lights but would never be able to afford a toy model.
You learn something new every day! OK. I'm going to check out the lenses on my Eagle 12-8-8 that I got a year ago! By the way, our city started putting these up at many intersections in the 70's and I remember thinking how shiny they looked. I asked my father why these new traffic lights looked so much shinier than the older ones; I was around 8 and my dad was so cool. He always indulged my traffic light obsession and never made me feel like it was weird. My dad told me to write the company and find out. So I did. Eagle sent me all kinds of literature on their signals, and it was then that I found out these were polycarbonate, plastic signals! Plastic! Someone from the company wrote a letter as well telling me when these were developed and that it made maintenance much easier since they were much more durable than the aluminum signals. I was a fan for life. I hated when they started removing these Durasigs!
I like what you did with this signal! Econolite. Great traffic lights and a great company. Back in the late 70s, our city was upgrading traffic signals and I discovered the Econolite 12-inch pedestrian signal. I was floored. I loved the way those huge DONT WALK/WALK singnals looked. Even cooler was how the WALK lens looked completely blue when it wasn't lit. I would literally ride my bike every day to where these signals were being installed, just so I could sit there and gawk at the new traffic signals, especially the pedestrian signals. I wrote Econolite blabbing on and on about how much I loved their traffic lights and would it be possible to buy a 12-inch pedestrian signal. You know what they did? They SENT me on built with what the president called "factory seconds", or slightly damaged parts. I swear, I couldn't see a single mark of damage anywhere, not even the tiniest scratch. My folks were just amazed (as I was) that a corporation would do that for a kid. I'll always love Econolite!
Fantastic video! The area of Illinois where I grew up had these Eagle signals everywhere. Yellow housing, black doors and visors. At the time, as a kid, I wasn't a fan of the cutaway visors, I like the full visors more. Memories. A 4-section signal. That was something when you had an intersection with an arrow- and not a green and yellow arrow, just the green arrow where you never knew when it was going to shut off! Congratulations to you for finding this trapezoid!
I have a signal channel called traffic signals of california
I just subbed to your channel. Thanks for watching. 2020 and 2021 have been crappy years but i will have more traffic light vids coming soon. 2022 will be better
Sucks that I haven't seen him sell Dayton Ohio style traffic lights (black body, yellow door, black visor) in that scale.
He will custom build one for you. Sorry for the late reply.
It's okay. That comment was old anyway.
Educational is cool....would make great garden lights..... 🚦
I own one of his signals

Amazing 👏
Have you found a 12-inch generation 2 durasig housing for sale? I need one for my ped signal
No. The only 12 inch durasig I have is a 12-8-8 signal dated 1978.
Go online and look up Twin Green Traffic Signal. He runs a Traffic light salvage yard in New York. He sells everything from complete signals to parts. I bought alot of stuff from him.
@@noahbarrett1172 does he have durasigs for sale?
En qué país es eso
To the "thumbs down" crowd I'd like to take this opportunity to say.... Oh well! 😅🤣 MORE TRAFFIC LIGHT VIDEOS COMING SOON!
Yes coming soon right
@Ishmael Bear Eventually, yes. I've had some health issues so the vids aren't a high priority for at the moment.
@@noahbarrett1172 Thanks i love traffic lights
@Ishmael Bear Me too. I used to have one of the plastic Power Wheels traffic lights when I was a kid.
@@noahbarrett1172 thanks.☺☺
Not bad
We had those in Westside of Colorado
You’re pretty good at it
We need to update in GTA
What do you have the wires hooked to (wires from traffic light clamped to a black wire that goes into the PCB? What are those black wires?) I for the life of me cannot keep all these tiny wires hooked all together in the PCB. I have a good handful of these. Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply... I will make a video in the next day or so explaining the wire hook ups.
