This homemade Peri-Peri sauce is a must-try for any spicy food lover! A metric ton of African Bird's eye chillies, garlic, lemon, and a few other aromatic herbs & spices. The perfect condiment for Peri-Peri chicken on the braai!
Recipe

∙ ½ cup canola oil
∙ 2 onions
∙ 2 Red bell peppers
∙ 4 tablespoons garlic flakes
∙ ½ cup fresh celery
∙ 5 bay leaves
∙ 3 tablespoons dried oregano
∙ 250g Bird's eye chillies (Peri-Peri)
∙ 2 tablespoons dried Peri-Peri
∙ 2 tablespoons paprika
∙ 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
∙ 1½ tablespoons salt
∙ ¾ cup sugar
∙ 1½ cups Red wine vinegar
∙ 2 cups water
∙ 70g tomato paste
∙ ½ large lemon's zest
∙ ½ cup lemon juice
