He basically overheated. When someone wears armor and the armor can take it, but the person can’t. You’ll just be left in ashes while the armor is still yellow.
It’s funny how him flying at these speeds and maneuvering would literally kill instantly any ordinary human but let’s assume he came up with something to counter that fact. I love how he went from his clunky metal suits that would literally lose in 2 seconds against Thanos to a self healing nanotechnology suit that made him stay alive for a few minutes with Thanos
Yes he did. The suit has built in with inertial dampner, that will absorb impact force preventing it from reaching tony's body. Its not only useful for the high speed flights but also for when he is taking punch from mad titan or that badass landing in iron man 1. But since any machine isn't 100% efficient some amount of force will still reach tony's body causing him to be unconscious when storm breaker hit him in end game or causing him to bleed.
