Thank you for this fantastic guide. Just completed my first run. Used mainly Kate R5 ascended (not max sig + 5* R1 Chavez for synergy), R4 Absman, R1 7* Odin, and R1 Dragonman. Used 3-4 revives average before GM. Pretty good run for me. The guide helped a lot. Would love to see more guides like this for other paths.

Yup, the run I feel was fine, I could've saved maybe around 10 revives total if I played it slower, but I like aggressive playstyle, and that sometimes backfires at me, haha)). The rewards weren't particularly great, but I got myself a Wiccan 7* who I think will be a good replacement for the Dragonman since he's fully immune to reverse control. I'm thinking of doing Sauron into the Surfer path with Kate (finally sig200), Wiccan R1 (maybe R2 if I use a generic gem), Odin R1, Chavez (synergy) and a R4 high sig Shuri. Thoughts?
Excellent video. Kate is just a chef, opted to go for her instead of just brute forcing it with Aegon and used very little resources and had more fun. Also brought in r1 wongers and he was unbelievable. Left me surprised but those two with r2Chavez, r5herc for that annoying psycoman and Wiccan made it so easy.
@@Supersaiyanprime24 20. I used team revives because my team is highly ranked so I could outmuscle stuff. Bear in mind I was making a lot of mistakes. Like using caltrops against omega sentinel or forgetting about reverse controls against the mutant swordswoman
Thanks for this guide on necropolis... I'm planning my 1st run and gonna do same path, with a similar team built around my r5 sig 200 ascended Kate... 1. Kate Bishop for most fights, 2. Chavez for aarkus and the 3 trick arrow synergy, and Airwalker 3. Shuri, 4. Juggernaut for last 1% of GM's reverse controls, 5. Heimdall for the cheat death mechanic (bc can't think of anyone else, could bring r5 Fantman or Bishop) I don't have Aegon as a 6* but it seems Kate is just as good :) and no lengthy ramping! Unless you have class advantage defenders can't have their ability accuracy lowered below 50% and when they're at half vengeance charges not at all that's why some debuffs still might get through tranquilize
I did think of that, but it’s odd why I wouldn’t have any debuffs get through at all in an entire fight with Kate against Cap B, I was in the root phase and critting, and just not getting any debuffs whatsoever. At that point tranquillise shouldn’t have stopped any of the debuffs if what you’re saying is the case. It’s an odd one for sure
Good shout! His autoblock counter can definitely help, Herc doesn’t really have the sort of damage output for Necro imo, but he definitely works as a counter there
@@bittersteel7362 I mean looking at nicks stream herc could’ve done both psycho man and guardian in 1 or 2 revs if mistakes weren’t made, so for tech champs at least his damage seems fine imo.
i took shuri(7*r2) for airwalker and she did surprisingly well, even when he had 3 persistent charges i just kept parrying the sp1s for minimal damage and that's it, used one revive (with the cornered trap node)
just out of curiosity mate, can i use my maxed out black widow Claire voyant for the nova and the vision arkus? or is it gonna cost me a lot of revives secondly what do you think of this team: kb, chavez, black widow, claire voyant, hulkling, prof x(for reverse control immunity)
Both will work great, I think Gamora probably a little better tbh, she has the sort of ramp up for long fights. And after sp3 has true strike you can keep up with a heavy
100% possible for exploration. I’ve put my plan together to explore Necro without aegon or Shuri. Kate and Chavez are on every team, and my Shuri replacement is G2099
Just did a first run using your guide, but with r4 adam instead of gorr and r4 juggs instead of wiccan since i had neither, with 27 single revives and 2 team revives. Thank you so much!! Unfortunate skill r3 gem though 😢. Interestingly, I used the same amount of revives for grandmaster ( 1 team, 5 solo) as nova(10) cause i kept messing up my runs and decided to just spam 20 percent revives and save potions by using carl to take nova out.. Do u suggest saving the crystals till the titan pool rotates so there's a chance at juggy or warlock?

i think it is a thing using kate for cap britain, the defender's abi acc cant go below 50% unless attacker has class advantage so the tranquilize can't stop all the debuffs
I actually figured it out! Cap Britain gets increased DAAR based on her prowesses. So if she purifies to many debuffs from you she’ll gain prowess and sometimes your tranq won’t be enough, if you apply another tranq you should be ok if she gains too many prowess

FYI, It took 26 single revived + 1 team revive till grand master and grandmaster 3rd phase took 30+ revives. Also, kate and gamora freaking rocks.

@@IsmaelSaboerali yes titania and guardian path, for aarkus i used kate and Wiccan, with kate just use coldsnap keep him into corner and he'll use sp1 and you just heavy him. Use pots to heal up to full, that way you survive longer. Don't bother using tranq, it'll be purified. Gamora was used for psychoman and guardian mainly. Rest all it's kate mostly. And GM's third phase was a pain in the ass, he doesn't throw his sp1, reverse control shenanigans and all that. I kinda played badly and was frustrated lol so I ended up wasting revives. I could complete the entire path within 30 revives, if i play again tbh.

It depends, Chavez is more difficult for Aarkus and airwalker but you’ll manage. Shuri could really help for psycho man, and back up for other fights too. You’d have to use Chavez or Kate for nova too, which works fine but just bear in mind. I’d probably recommend Shuri, but be careful of Aarkus
Chavez can work pretty well, so can Kushala. Kate can take the rest of the fights you’re only really looking for someone who can take Aarkus. And maybe as backup for Air walker and nova Wiccan could probably do it too? Wong can for sure. There are definitely options
I’ve heard mixed revives, some people saying they could get 15% off, others saying it was awful. So it depends if you want to sink some revives into it

It’s possible, but depends on how good you are with Zemo. People have had success with a full Zemo synergy team with an option for a couple of fights. I’m not super familiar with Zemo and Wong, so I’d probably ask around Karate Mike, MSD and BMcG who all are more familiar with those champs. But I think a Zemo and then 3 Zemo synergy + Wong might be able to do Mr F into Apoc, but it sounds tough. Maybe a couple of problem fights there
Could someone help me? I had to quit out of my first run due to Wiccan, the other fights ran smoothly but Wiccan, was regening 6-31k per second. So that said, Kate isn’t an option due to me only having 1 point in md. Is there any other champs I could use to counter Wiccan?

You can, but you have less time to do damage and you do less damage in that less time. I’d probably not say it’s worth it unless you bring the Chavez synergy to increase your damage output. But if you boost big a Kate R4 should be fine
Aarkus gains power when you’re armour break immune, so Wiccan could be tough. I’d probably look to bring someone else in for them (I might be wrong on Wiccan) but doom doesn’t work, you’re power locked after sp3 What options do you have?
so this is the team I'm thinking for the same path, r4 Kate, r4 gorr, 7* r1 chavez, r3 6* shuri (for phyco man, wiccan and maybe valk) then r4 doom mainly for arkus but as another air-walker option. Those last 2 can change but I don't have abs, the arkus, wiccan and phyco man are the fight's I'm worried about.
I would be really hesitant to bring an R3 champion into Necro, but if you know it’s going to cost you a lot more revives then it’s your choice! Also, Doom doesn’t work great for Aarkus or Air walker at all. If you use sp3 against Aarkus you are power locked, and if you nullify airwalker I believe he shoots to 3 bars of power I’d definitely look for another option there Wiccan and Psycho can be taken by both Kate and Shuri, so that’s an option there!
@@bittersteel7362 I know about doom getting special locked after sp3, what I'm thinking for that fight spam sp1 until he has no power gain buffs, keep a stagger up so he doesn't get any more, then I can play slow get to my sp3 and keep the fight under control. That in theory should work but we will see, I'll just Kate or Chavez air-walker. I'm concerned about wiccans healing against Kate, especially since mine is r4 not ascended and I haven't seen videos of her taking wiccan and phyco-man, I feel confident with shuri against phyco-man even as an r3 for this content. So now the fights that I'm worried about is wiccan and phyco-man (I don't have despair), still not 100% sure on doom and shuri, I could try do Kate vs arkus but I'm scared of that power gain and keeping my damage up. So with that said I'm not 100% sure on how I'm going to do those 3 fights, can I send you ss of my options on discord?

You’ll definitely want despair, apart from that nothing specifically jumps out

Could you use Kate, abs, or america against guardian? I don’t have any good cosmic counters and those 3 will be my primary attackers
Those will all be tough against him if I’m honest, I know people have got through it with Kate eventually but it’s not a fun fight with his resistance

Coming back to this, I see that you used abs for just one fight, mine is at r3, is it worth taking him to r4 for one fight + gm contribution?
Depends on your other r4/7star mystics. If you have Chavez, abs may not be necessary

I used kate inflicted tranqualize on os she just keep getting self repair and constantly heals...
Are you using Caltrops arrow? That’s probably making her bleed, and that’s why she gets the regen
Avoid that arrow and see if it works :)

What other strong mystics do you have? A Chavez will work but it’ll be pretty costly at that rank. You could also risk Kate, I do think she could work in theory with Tranq, but it would be a risk
@@bittersteel7362 I've got Doom, tigra, rintrah, Hood, Spidey supreme as r4s, and mangog as 7*. I also saw swedeah use venom against aarkus pretty effectively, and I do have a 7* venom, so that could potentially be an option

You can, but you have less time to do damage and you do less damage in that less time. I’d probably not say it’s worth it unless you bring the Chavez synergy to increase your damage output. But if you boost big a Kate R4 should be fine

You need someone for Guardian, that’s the only roadblock you’ll have if you’re doing a similar team to me. What options do you have?
Does doctor doom or Wiccan work for aarkus?

Aarkus gains power when you’re armour break immune, so Wiccan could be tough. I’d probably look to bring someone else in for them (I might be wrong on Wiccan) but doom doesn’t work, you’re power locked after sp3

I think i have to use aegon just because i have no counter for guardian
so this is the team I'm thinking for the same path, r4 Kate, r4 gorr, 7* r1 chavez, r3 6* shuri (for phyco man, wiccan and maybe valk) then r4 doom mainly for arkus but as another air-walker option. Those last 2 can change but I don't have abs, the arkus, wiccan and phyco man are the fight's I'm worried about.
I would be really hesitant to bring an R3 champion into Necro, but if you know it’s going to cost you a lot more revives then it’s your choice!
Also, Doom doesn’t work great for Aarkus or Air walker at all. If you use sp3 against Aarkus you are power locked, and if you nullify airwalker I believe he shoots to 3 bars of power
I’d definitely look for another option there
Wiccan and Psycho can be taken by both Kate and Shuri, so that’s an option there!
@@bittersteel7362 I know about doom getting special locked after sp3, what I'm thinking for that fight spam sp1 until he has no power gain buffs, keep a stagger up so he doesn't get any more, then I can play slow get to my sp3 and keep the fight under control. That in theory should work but we will see, I'll just Kate or Chavez air-walker.
I'm concerned about wiccans healing against Kate, especially since mine is r4 not ascended and I haven't seen videos of her taking wiccan and phyco-man, I feel confident with shuri against phyco-man even as an r3 for this content.
So now the fights that I'm worried about is wiccan and phyco-man (I don't have despair), still not 100% sure on doom and shuri, I could try do Kate vs arkus but I'm scared of that power gain and keeping my damage up.
So with that said I'm not 100% sure on how I'm going to do those 3 fights, can I send you ss of my options on discord?
