Sure seems like a good solar outfit would just install this in the first place for 40 bucks!

So i can use all the solar installed equipment and not route to my internal home circuit panel?

Hi. Can we read production energy via PLC and still having accurate consumption values? This is, without using the production CT. Only consumption CTs.

Hi Ricardo! Consumption CTs do not measure production. You must have the production CT, which is included with the stand-alone Envoy and built into the combiner box. Let us know if you have any more questions. You can reach us by email at info@renvu.com. Cheers!

@@RENVU What is the difference between a Net Meter vs. a production CT? Is it required to be installed in a system as I feel it is redundant?

We would recommend finding a local installer through the NABCEP database: www.nabcep.org/nabcep-professionals/

Anyone can do electrical work on their own home, you still have to get permits though….. keep in mind though this is not like replacing an ac outlet, this is advanced level work, if you are not qualified to do it, don’t try it

Useless video - too old should be taken out or replace with new equipment.
