Yep! Instantly, I knew that it was a spiritual battle… I knew that there was something in him that did not like to hear the name of Jesus or that rebuke. A couple of ignored facts here: 1) Her intention was NOT to throw boiling water at cop. 2) He told her to check on the water. She was boiling water prior to his entrance. 3) She went over to stove and took the pot up and turned water on AFTER he infers that he did not want to be near the water. (very important) She was cooling it off so it was NOT (or no longer a threat) 4) When she "rebukes" him, her intention was to squash his belief that that was her intention to harm. HE PLANTS THE IDEA OF USING THE WATER TO HARM HIM. She never mentions thats her intention. She was saying "no way would I do that" by saying "I rebuke you ITNOJ" she was saying: I rebuke that negative thought or remark you have said about me. (it's a cultural understanding IYKYK). 5) After pulling out gun and advancing toward her, and threatening HER, she eventually throws a luke warm pot of water at him weakly with ALOT of distance between them. 6) She put the pot down and crouched down in response to his more aggressive stance and walk forward toward her and actually says: "I AM SORRY, I AM SORRY" It is then she is shot. so no, she didnt even deserve a taser. all he had to do was walk out HER door and get in his car. She made no threatening remarks or intentions to harm him, not once.

Seemed to me she made that comment about rebuking him because he was abusive to her from the moment she opened the door. This did not have to happen. That cop should have done his job, looked around her house to make sure everything was ok and when he realized it was he should have then left. The boiling hot pot of water was not a gun… Retreating would’ve been just fine… But his ego and demons got the best of him.

Was she in the house naked when she called the cops? These are all the things that don't add up to the cop. Shes talking about her bible and her papers. He wanted to make sure she wasn't going to harm herself or anyone else after he left. If he had left and she was having a mental breakdown and killed herself or a neighbor, you would be asking why the cops didn't do anything when they came out before.... Sonya Massey was completely innocent(just a very genuine ,simple woman) The officer told her to take a pan of boiling water off of the stove, she remove the pan from the stove. And walked over to her sink with the hot water, Shawn Grayson (The guilty officer) Heard her say" I rebuke you in the name of Jesus", Grayson asked her what she said, and she repeated." I rebuke you in the name of Jesus"... Grayson flipped out!! He then said " you better not!! I'll shoot you in the face!!!" Drew his gun on her, she threw up both of her hands with the pod holders on her hands, Said.." I'm sorry... I'm sorry"; and ducked behind the counter. At this point. Grayson screamed "put the pan down!!. Put the pan down!!" And shot her in the head first... Following two other shots. He told the other officer that she was trying to throw this pan of hot water on him. He began to set up his own scenario. The rest of the video, is Grayson trying to make her look like she was going to throw hot water in his face! COMPLETE FABRICATION!!! Now here's the part that you are leaving out.... Grayson was found guilty by a grand jury, on three counts of first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct. It is reported that Grayson had been released from four other police precincts, before he was working where he was the night of the murder. THE QUESTION WE SHOULD BE ASKING OURSELVES IS THIS... Not true. This officer has been indicted by a grand jury. He pled not guilty and was denied pretrial release. HE HAS NOT HAD A TRAIL OR BEEN SENTENCED.

My husband showed me the full video yesterday. He had the same remarks: taser first. And that water isn't a justified weapon over a taser. I said that even if she threw that water at him, he is far enough away, could see her clearly with it, and would have been able to jump back even further. After he killed her, he said multiple times that he wasn't going to get burned in the face. Excuses. It's water. And you're multiple feet away, not right next to her. This women was frail and had trouble to even take the pot off of the stove... Also, the officers don't realize that she is having a mental episode and must have missed that day of training. Watch the full video and you can really tell that she isn't all there.

At no time would i have even drawn my weapon. ANY threat short of a gun, i could've sidestepped. Officer Baby Huey had to walk around the partition between he and Massey. We need more fighters or athletes to view her body-language. She raised up extending the pot as a shield with one hand and shielding her face with the other hand. Nothing in her physical demeanor remotely equated to an attack. This was a act of panic, like a mouse being coaxed out of its hiding space. Saying she is sorry was an act of a person in terror, much like a person who is victim of abuse. Saying she's sorry is a hope that the abuser would be lenient. Its a reflex statement despite if she has something to be afraid of or not. "I'm sorry" is the default victims resort to after being conditioned and gaslighted into believing they did something wrong even if they don't know what that "wrong" was. Children do the same thing, because against the parents authority, they are conditioned not to argue because parents are always right. If the punishment seems inevitable, the default is saying:"i'm sorry" I'd also like to note, that while rising up and sheilding herself, she couldn't see because she covered her face. So she couldn't aim nor was she trying to aim. This officer simply executed this woman. The officers asked her to turn off the stove. So she headed over to the stove. He said what he said and she apologized, literally threw her hands in the air and lowered herself to the ground. He still took her life.

When my mom was in her 60s she got pulled over by the cops… and one cop was screaaaming at her, mind you my mother is barely 5 feet tall and super soft spoken and timid. The reality is our cops are unhinged.

When he said "I don't want you to throw hot water on me", then she responded "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" by means she was rebuking his own evil thoughts (him believing she would harm him). It was before she brought the pot to her face as he walked around the counter. No one is showing that clip. My guess is with the election and the DNC convention in Chicago, they are trying to start another Floyd scenario. Doesn't mean she deserved to be shot, but there is more to the story from the shooting officers view. The partner's body cam is blocked by the stuff on the counter to get a clear view of what actually happened.

Thanks for speaking up, but I think you need to do a full analysis of the full video. Her exact words were "oh I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" when she said this the post was in the sink. When she lifted her hands she had "pot holders/oven mitts" in her hand her hands were above her head as well. Also this officer pointed out water on the floor but that was caused by the blue bucket 🪣 right by her feet. He was wrong and he lied multiple times on camera when his sergeant showed up.

She then proceeds to walk to the stove grab the pot to put it in the sink, the police then back up after they told her to turn off the pot, she asks why are yall backing up? By the way I believe the officer that shot her has been reassigned to 6 different departments within 8 years due to his behavior.

I can only answer the first question: it's another police officer body cam. There is a full video out there somewhere. My husband showed me the full video yesterday. He had the same remarks: taser first. I said that even if she threw that water at him, he is far enough away, could see her clearly with it, and would have been able to jump back even further. After he killed her, he said multiple times that he wasn't going to get burned in the face. Excuses. It's water. Not a gun or even a knife.
Initially she was seated on her couch looking for her ID. Then one of officers instructed her to go turn off the stove. He said in order to avoid a fire. She proceeded to go to turn off the stove and I believe that as she grabbed the water to dump it in the sink the officer backed-up and she asked him why. He said that he was backing up from her boiling water. She never threatened him with the water. She simply said I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.

Yep! Instantly, I knew that it was a spiritual battle… I knew that there was something in him that did not like to hear the name of Jesus or that rebuke.
This was a spiritual battle and she was in a weak state of mind and that didn’t help her. She threw that hot pot & the boiling water in it. The first time I watched the video of the body cams, I didn’t see that she threw the pot and I didn’t see it sitting there on that chair just a couple feet from him… if he would’ve just de-escalate or retreated, she would be alive… But he snapped and escalated the situation and drew his gun when he didn’t need to.

A couple of ignored facts here:
1) Her intention was NOT to throw boiling water at cop.
2) He told her to check on the water. She was boiling water prior to his entrance.
3) She went over to stove and took the pot up and turned water on AFTER he infers that he did not want to be near the water. (very important) She was cooling it off so it was NOT (or no longer a threat)
4) When she "rebukes" him, her intention was to squash his belief that that was her intention to harm. HE PLANTS THE IDEA OF USING THE WATER TO HARM HIM. She never mentions thats her intention. She was saying "no way would I do that" by saying "I rebuke you ITNOJ" she was saying: I rebuke that negative thought or remark you have said about me. (it's a cultural understanding IYKYK).
5) After pulling out gun and advancing toward her, and threatening HER, she eventually throws a luke warm pot of water at him weakly with ALOT of distance between them.
6) She put the pot down and crouched down in response to his more aggressive stance and walk forward toward her and actually says: "I AM SORRY, I AM SORRY"

This cop is thinking she is having a mental episode. She's seeing "prowlers" where there are none. She took 10 min to open the door after calling for help for said prowler. And walked over to her sink with the hot water, Shawn Grayson (The guilty officer) Heard her say" I rebuke you in the name of Jesus", Grayson asked her what she said, and she repeated." Drew his gun on her, she threw up both of her hands with the pod holders on her hands, Said.." I'm sorry... I'm sorry"; and ducked behind the counter. At this point. He told the other officer that she was trying to throw this pan of hot water on him. He began to set up his own scenario. Grayson was found guilty by a grand jury, on three counts of first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct. My husband showed me the full video yesterday. He had the same remarks: taser first. And that water isn't a justified weapon over a taser.
I said that even if she threw that water at him, he is far enough away, could see her clearly with it, and would have been able to jump back even further. After he killed her, he said multiple times that he wasn't going to get burned in the face. Excuses. It's water. And you're multiple feet away, not right next to her. This women was frail and had trouble to even take the pot off of the stove...

My guess is with the election and the DNC convention in Chicago, they are trying to start another Floyd scenario. Doesn't mean she deserved to be shot, but there is more to the story from the shooting officers view. The partner's body cam is blocked by the stuff on the counter to get a clear view of what actually happened.

By the way I believe the officer that shot her has been reassigned to 6 different departments within 8 years due to his behavior.

She says Jesus name all the time! She repeatedly talks about Jesus and repeatedly states loud and clear that Christ is King. The lady one the video said... in the name of Jesus, and then repeated it, in the name of the Lord... So she probably only hear the last part because the police guy was talking over the victim.

Lately it seems the person that calls the police ends up being treated like a criminal this is far worse than when they shot the guy who answered his door with his gun by his side that case quickly disappeared you don't hear anything about that anymore no one's doing a follow-up about that😢
This right here has pretty much made up my mind to never call on the police for help. You never know who you’re going to get. They aren’t paid enough and the standards are too low, the only people left willing to do it are not great people for the most part. Not all obviously. But you never know.

I can only answer the first question: it's another police officer body cam. There is a full video out there somewhere. My husband showed me the full video yesterday. He had the same remarks: taser first.
I said that even if she threw that water at him, he is far enough away, could see her clearly with it, and would have been able to jump back even further. After he killed her, he said multiple times that he wasn't going to get burned in the face. Excuses. It's water. Not a gun or even a knife.

Initially she was seated on her couch looking for her ID. Then one of officers instructed her to go turn off the stove. He said in order to avoid a fire. She proceeded to go to turn off the stove and I believe that as she grabbed the water to dump it in the sink the officer backed-up and she asked him why. He said that he was backing up from her boiling water. She never threatened him with the water. She simply said I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.

He should not have ORDERED her to go retrieve the water if he felt that threatened by it. He was a demon filled monster and it was murder

@@upcycledwearshe was not mentally well, had schizophrenia apparently, so shouldn't be expected to behave totally normally and rationally or say things that make sense. He easily could have stepped 4 steps back where he was far out of reach of any risk at all and then waited for what would happen. Instead he gets closer and closer to her, something you wouldn't do if you were worried about getting boiling water thrown on you.

- 1 second after he says "face" his gun comes out. She hadn't moved at all, but did duck when the gun was pointed at her
-as she ducked she said "okay I'm sorry. I'm sorry" then he starts screaming "DROP THE %#^$ POT"
- within 4 seconds of drawing his gun he fired 3 times
Then they called it in, the partner said he was going to get his medical kit and the shooter said "no, she's done. (chuckled) you can go get it, but that was a head shot"
It's unclear exactly what she was doing when he fired his gun, the shooter took a few steps towards her and was blocking the line of sight of his partners body cam
