  • Welcome back, folks! With summer around the corner, outdoor water activities become a must in the Midwest. But what if you can't hit the lakes or streams? No worries! Since 2016, I've been using my deep freeze as a cold plunge. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. However, when the Recovery Fun Group offered me an affordable alternative, I couldn't resist.
In this video, I'm reviewing this game-changer. I only review products I believe in, so stick around for my honest take. From setup to plung, I'll cover it all. Let's dive in!
Upon unboxing, I was impressed. The Recover Fun is wider than most, making it suitable for the average person. Setting it up was a breeze, with clear instructions provided. Plus, it comes with a cover, ensuring hassle-free maintenance.
The chiller unit-the heart of this device. It's what sets the Recover Fun apart from others. With a simple plug-and-play setup, keeping your water at the perfect temperature is a piece of cake. Plus, the filter ensures clean water every time.
But how does it perform? Well, after a quick setup, I'm ready to take the plunge. The water temperature is easily adjustable, catering to various preferences. And at 40°F, it's chilly and refreshing-perfect for a summer cooldown.
Throughout my experience, I appreciated the spacious design, accommodating even taller individuals. Plus, the durable construction reassures me of its longevity.
If you're new to cold plunges or a seasoned pro, this affordable option is worth considering. With its ease of use and impressive features, it's a game-changer for cold therapy enthusiasts.

This is perfect timing for me! I’ve been out of the cold shower/plunge mode for awhile now. I’ve been looking at the DIYs to make a cold plunge out of a chest freezer. My husband said he couldn’t do it for me, so I’m seriously considering this! I’m grateful you did this and shared your experience with your old freezer plunge and this new plunger. Thank you for all of your helpful videos and reviews! You’re awesome! I’m hoping there’s a cool discount code. I haven’t even looked yet.

Mine didn't have a chiller, couldn't afford it. Making ice is a ridiculous chore!

    Jesse:
    1) was it able to keep up when your warm body entered water?
    2) how long did it take to reach desired temp?
    3) Is there a in line filter to capture impurities?

Check out the video for number 3, but I didn't leave it plugged in while in the plunge. However, there was no significant increase in temp while I was in it. It took me about 4 hours for this temp but this is a unit that you always leave turned on. So, once it's up and going, you only turn it off to plunge
