What Is Form Deck?
Form deck is corrugated metal that’s used as a form for structural concrete. Metal form decking supports the weight of the concrete slab while it cures.
Form Deck vs. Composite Deck
Form deck and composite deck will support wet concrete, but there is one major difference. Form decking will not increase the strength of the floor. Composite deck does increase the strength of the floor system.
Composite floor decking has embossments in the ribs of the metal decking. The embossments bond with the concrete slab and create a composite floor deck system. This increases the strength of the floor without adding extra weight.
Metal form decking only supports the weight of the concrete. There aren’t any embossments and it will not become bonded to the concrete. Steel form decking will not increase the strength of the floor.

Thanks for the info
thanks very much
I have smooth composite. Looks like the composite here with no embossments. What are pros and cons? Its galvanized.
So I am building a 12x24 shed that will be used as a small powerlifting gym. I want to to use composite decking and concrete for the floors, that will be sitting on 4x4 pressure treated skids on a gravel pad. The reason for this is so that the entire shed can be moved vs just pouring a concrete slab and building the shed on top of that. My question is, what size of composite decking would I need to use to withstand a live load from someone deadlifting say 600lbs, and the weight being dropped from approximately 4ft. My original plan was to have 4 skids spanning the 12ft wide distance, so three separate runs of 4ft unsupported span. I could add another skid and make the unsupported spans only 3 ft. just wondering if this might work?
If you are not pouring concrete then you can use a roof deck. The deeper the deck = the stronger the deck. 1.5" or 3" deep will be your options. Here's a link and you can find load charts in the roof deck catalog that's located on the products pages for the different types of decks. God luck with your project.

WHy is it called composite vs the roof deck which isn't?
Form deck is not composite decking. Composite decking has embossments in it. Composite metal decking and the concrete bond together to create a composite metal floor deck. The main advantage of a composite metal floor deck is that it will increase the strength of the floor without adding extra weight. With form deck that doesn't have embossments it is simply there to support the weight of the concrete. Roof deck is smooth and does not have embossments.
