Dang. This animatic got a lot of attention. And while I'm so thankful that all of you liked it, I must say that I can't help cringing when I look back at it. I definitely took a lot of inspiration from Soph's art to the point that it really looks copied in the first few panels. And I'm really not proud of that. I'm definitely gonna try and redo this at a later point, probably when I get an actual drawing tablet because making animatics on my phone is a pain in the ass.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I actually think it’s a bit cheap when authors just kill off the protagonists because their life gets too hard and there’s no way out. It’s easier to kill of mc’s rather than having them live through the pain and have a peaceful ending (much like in the hunger games with katniss and peeta where they have a good ending) I hope so much that we get an ending like the hunger games where they help eachother through the pain and don’t give up.

my tip is to try not to focus too much on the background but on the character, so decrease the textures, leave out of focus, or give it a darker color
