Damn I am late. I started driving truck to the Islands this year and already spent some time near Doncaster at Stockyard truck stop. How is the scene there? I would love to enjoy the ska concert with the locals.
Im only 20 so I missed this music era in its hey day sadly, however I was fortunate enough to be introduced to it from a very young age and brought up with it all, thanks to my parents!! Best music ever, not like the cack released these days!! x
Love this band, some of the best music ever recorded, also great live caught up w/ them @ the Icehouse and at Hollywood Bowl was able to meet them what a bunch great guys, absolutely PLEASANT!!!
I was working in the oilfield in Oklahoma. They had no good music there. I flew home and bought as much good music as I could.(especially all two tone music) we rocked Oklahoma!!

You will have a great time at T in the park watching the mighty Specials, they cracked America and the far east and for me have influenced a generation. Went to see them for the first time in April as I was just too young in 1980 and was blown away. Have a great time mate , wish I could be there.

It was a great statement, not violent just great British fashion. Where's fashion now? Great music, I was an original skinhead in '69, and I was so pleased when two tone came along and bands like the Specials brought it all back. Shame skinheads have been hijacked by the far right, not what the skinheads of '69 were all about.
