Thanks for the confirmation. I have started a story telling podcast recently. (The Crooked Mile podcast btw) I like to script out the story I’m telling then as lib and change it as the story unfolds. Trying to keep it conversational instead of sounding like I’m reading. It takes several times of pre reading or rehearsals before I commit to recording. Then of course there is editing. Thanks again
@@podcastingforfunandprofit6203 Thank you for asking! I will be publishing one as of Sunday September 3rd. The title is "Oui" Teach French and the audience it is for French Immersion teachers. It has been a busy summer of recording and editing!
i tried both ways on a podcast i worry though that with a script i might sound to robotic while freely its more fluent and its more you that you can show your emotions more. but when i did it without a script i used the word like a lot i noticed so maybe try bullet points or try using a script and add freely to that script
It's such a challenge! I agree an unscripted show probably lets more of your personality shine through, but may demand more editing after the fact. Thanks so much for watching!
Great. For some time now, I have searched for videos on podcast platform algorithm (on anchor and others) and I haven't had any video on them. Could you pls do a video on that for some of us. Started podcasting not long ago and no, I'm not in a rush but I really want to to know if there's an algorithm or some means to beat the search for podcasts.
It would be better to put the camera closer to where your script is - so your eye line doesn't have to look away but looks right down or or up- not to the side. also, bullet points are the way to go.
Very helpful. The first video I watched seemed to be against scripting. I am used to preaching and teaching with a manuscript because I organize my thoughts a lot better by writing them out. Thanks
Lovee this video. Been wanting to start a podcast and the whole bullet point instead of script approach just didn't work for me. Thanks for explaining the script method
Dude. You really don’t have to spend half of your entire video telling me why writing a script is helpful. If I didn’t want to write one I wouldn’t have clicked on your video. Just tell me how to do it!
My first look at scripting the content of my podcast. Thank you so much for your inspiration.

Your advice is gold!!! "Fillers are killers"
Thank you. I really appreciate that! Do you have a podcast of your own?

Glad it was helpful! Plenty of people do really well without script, but personally I'm at my best with a script or outline.
thanks a lot man! This is good info.
You bet!

I may start editing in the near future but I for sure won't be doing any scripts.
Would feel like a robot just talking, and not showing the real me.
That's admirable! I have so much respect for people who can do it that way.
This is helpful!
Glad you think so!
Very helpful tu9
