Gotta point those thermal cameras up so your copper mesh cloth is in frame when you're using it as a mask

What I meant by mask / masking was masking body signature, not an actual face mask, but, you couldnt tell because my face was off screen!! I agree. Lol.
I’m trying to rope someone into being an assistant so I can run the cameras and have them hold the materials instead of doing it alone, setting the cameras and just hoping I’m in frame.

Have you considered using fire blanket materials?
They would seem like a good way to block thermal signatures.

Last year I tried to get something like a fire blanket (personal fire shelter for wild land forest fire fighters) but wasnt able to. I’ll revisit that idea this winter. They are probably in lower demand during the cold wet months. :)

Man im pretty impressed with the copper mesh, i think if you play with it more, and put it together with some other layers, it can work, also the mylar fabric can work nice as a base layer, and maybe have the usgi camo on top...even the burlap on top (to take the shine away...) can work, if you could do some move vidoes with this fabrics, and longer exposure toyour body hear that would be awesome....i consider this good data! Thank you!

How well does that Mylar with the holes reflect your body heat?

There’s a material called blackout canvas. It’s what the grow tents are made out of. It can be bought bulk in large rolls. Are you familiar with it? Curious about its heat signature blocking properties.

Curious, and no, I’m not familiar with it. I’ll look into it. 👍🏻

I bet that mesh would work great for that annoying microwave gun they have for crowd control.
