The music at 2:08 is "Skpping" by John Charles Fiddy which was used in Golden Book Video's Richard Scarry's Animal Nursery Tales when the Gingerbread Man taunts the villagers, "Run, run, as fast as you can! You can't catch me. I'm the Gingerbread Man!"

@@ZakWolf, you may find it interesting to believe. I actually watched the "Tales of Beatrix Potter, Vol. 1" video tape before I watched the Golden Book Video with its version of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit." Plus, I also had experience watching "Richard Scarry's Animal Nursery Tales" at a school I once went to outside my town. The names of some of the APM music/Golden Book Video tunes I recognize now are "Off to Play," (in the brief opening credits from 0:38 to 0:56), "Skipping" (played from 2:08 to 3:09 during "The Tale of Tom Kitten"), "Tomfoolery" (played from 10:00 to 11:13 during that video's segment of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit"), "Ghostly Footsteps" (from 34:29 to 35:17 during "The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher") and "Perky Pinky" (tune that is played numerous times and at the end of the video). With some understanding as a kid, the first thing I ever heard "Perky Pinky" in was a commercial for the Ashton-Drake Baseball Michael doll made by Yollanda Bello. Then, I remembered that tune as the same one from that classic porcelain baby doll commercial each time I watched that first classic "Show Me a Story Beatrix Potter" VHS tape

By the way, I also recognize the same "Mini Link 11" music cue that's played from 36:35 to 36:39 in the "Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher" segment of this classic video because I also remember hearing it in the "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" segment of the "Richard Scarry's Animal Nursery Tales" video classic from the Golden Book Video series.

Do any of you recognize these other music cues? The first one that trips my memory is are the ones from 3:38 to 4:00 in "The Tale of Tom Kitten" segment because even though I didn't care what these tunes were when I watched this video on VHS, I now recognize them as the same tunes that I heard in the first scene of Brianna's elementary school play of "Snow White" and during the last scene in "The Other Sister" episode of "The Bernie Mac Show." In "The Tale of Two Bad Mice" segment of this "Show Me a Story: Beatrix Potter" video, the other music cue I recognize from 18:09 to 18:28 is the same one that was used also at the start of Brianna's school play in "The Other Sister" episode of "The Bernie Mac Show." If you have a chance, please let me know the titles of these music cues I mentioned. I'd like that. By the way, when those two music cues first got my attention whilst watching that episode of "The Bernie Mac Show," it was during my 9th and 10th grade years in high school.

I still want to identify the music cues used from 8:08-10:00 (The Tale of Peter Rabbit), the music cues from 18:54-19:43 (The Tale of Two Bad Mice), the music cues from 22:04-22:08 (The Story of Miss Moppet), the music cues from 24:37-27:43 (The Tale of Benjamin Bunny), 29:49-30:03 (The Tale of Benjamin Bunny) and 36:54-37:11 (The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher). If anyone can identify these music cues for me, please let me know as soon as you can. I would love to finally solve this mystery. :)
