    From what I heard, that’s hardly a confederate symbol, it’s the crosslyn family coat of arms that south fighters fought under, and that’s how ima remember it being from Baltimore with the Maryland flag tattooed on me lol

    Both ensigns were merged as a promise. That we would never fight each other again, and to remember the fallen sons of Maryland. It’s a symbol of reconciliation.

      They were merged more than 100 years befor that. They were always together in the coat of arms since the founding
