    Japan heard of the "Unique Opportunities for Expansion" and came in a hurry in 41-42 for sure.

      Yes. Darwin was defenceless after the bomb attack but Japan didn't have the fresh water or the fuel to progress any further south. Invading Australia would have been very difficult. So much land for our army to retreat and counter-attack.

    Before the modern weapons they used sticks and stones and before that it was bare hands and teeth.

      @@MarkEliasGrantThe thing that has saved us is that the big boys know that their backsides get fried just like everybody else's. No much glory in being emperor over a pile of ashes.

    I suppose it was lucky Certain Nations had weapons back in 1914, the outcome would have been different if he had his way no doubt.
    It was only eleven years later hadn't learned anything it would appear, not every Nation has a romantic view of things, you can't win wars with words or rhetoric.
