Amanda, I sent my daughter your video on the MomAgenda; she sent back a note, “Mom, that’s the most perfect planner for YOU, order it!” I did (thank you for the affiliate link). I am going back to my old-fashioned command central planner, with an EC monthly for projects. I enjoyed my foray into C&P and others, but I’m actually old-fashioned and simple. I think MyAgenda will suit me and stop the “try it all” anxiety 🌸
I would be so confused on what to plan in if I had all those planners at my finger tips. lol. I have to say Heather really knocked in out of the park with her new daily planner. It just works so well. Every single page is functional. Always love your planning updates. Happy planning, Amanda! 💕
I am telling you- it's a blessing to have all these at my fingertips...and sometimes a curse...LOL. Not really though- because I love them! I agree that Heather at Sprouted really made that Daily amazing this year;)
This might be my favorite video of yours. I love seeing how you are using all these planners. I was feeling really guilty as this year I have a Day designer weekly, sugar paper weekly, Steph Pase daily (australian), spaces planner, whitney english undated weekly, and my usual fall back Mom agenda that I have been using for over 10 years. I play with all the others for a few days or weeks at the beginning of the year then end up back in my momagenda or myagenda complaining that it doesn't have everything. After seeing your video, I realised I could use the others for something else. So many good ideas in today's video - thank you!
Hello! Oh, I love that you shared this:) Such a good reminder to many who are feeling guilty about their planners. It's okay to have some you love sitting on the shelf I think to go in and out of. I love hearing that monAgenda is the one you always go back to! That is a great testimonial! I am glad this video was helpful:)
One, I love that EC pouch and am looking forward to not only the video you described but I am sure you will be doing an EC launch video and look forward to both! I went down a rabbit hole myself in the planner world this year, but I ended up in the EC monthly which I kinda use as a bullet journal. I keep trackers and yearly lists in the back notes section and my weekly to dos up with my month. It has been the best change for me.
I will be doing an EC launch video:) They come out April, 9th at 8am (CT)! And I love how you are using the EC monthly! That is such a great planner because it can be used in so many ways:) Thanks for taking time to watch and share with me. Wishing you a good weekend:)
Ashley Shelly monthly, Laurel Denise catch all, Leuchtturm 5-year journal scripture journal, Happy Planner Skinny Mini gratitude 1 word per day, Archer & Olive dot grid notebook hand lettering/art journal. Great video-love hearing your updates!
I love how you're using the Passion Planner and Hobonichi. For now, I'm just using what I can for survival mode lol. Hobonichi cousin- main planner & journal. Papertess designs weekly- health tracker. Personal rings- references. Sometimes Makselife vertical.
Thanks for sharing with me:) You've got great planners there to help when you need them. I understand about being in survival mode...we all go through it more than once in our lives. Hugs xxx
I’m using happy planner in a few layouts and live love posh quad layout. They are all franken planned together. Right now, I’m enjoying using up my stash.
This year, I am using your Ashley Shelly collab as a health journal, and Spaces & Laurel Denise for my weekly. I am also in my 2nd year of a Leuchtturm 5-year journal.
I also have tried too many planners this year. I was sticking pretty good to the Common Planner A5 from November to February, and then March came and I've been in Makeselife, a random bullet journal, and an Amplify Planner quarterly. My main thing is that even though I liked the Common Planner, the paper was thin and the grid was small, so I was using a 0.28 pen to make it work. I also missed having a coiled book. So. When April 15 comes, I decided I'm starting FRESH in July with an Erin Condren, horizontal Evolve layout academic year. I want to be in tune with school years when my kid starts school in a few years anyway, so the academic should be perfect. To fill the additional need that I liked about the Common Planner, I've already gotten a coiled EC notebook in the grid layout so the two books together should be exactly what I've been looking for.
Oh, lovely combo! And I always like the academic year too...especially when my kids were in public school;) Sometimes we have to try a few before we land on what works for the season we are in;)
I purchased the Erin Condren weekly planner last year and didn't care for it. I have purchased the MakseLife weekly flagship planner for three years in a row now. I especially love and respect CEO Sierra Friend, and am impressed by the MakseLife corporate values and philosophy. I also purchased the Sprouted Planner 2024 daily planner for the first time this year and am really liking that too. I will probably purchase these same two planners in 2025. Thank you Amanda for telling me about these planners.
I love your planner updates! This year I’m all in on Hobonichi: my entire life is in my Cousin, and I’m using a Weeks as a health tracker. It’s really helped keep me accountable with my PT exercises. I also use a plain notebook for goals and a notebook for my daily 1- sentence journal.
I love these video. I always appreciate being able to see how the planners are actually used functionally. For myself, in previous years I used simplified daily consistently and the weekly I changed but I always went back to simplified as well. This year I decided to change and started with hobonichi weeks and a6. It was great at first I really loved the portability for my daily as well as my weekly. Couple weeks ago I jumped back to my simplified weekly, and really enjoyed it. As small as it is, after being in the tiny hobonichi weeks, it feels like it has so much space and I love it. I don’t know if I’ll stick with it until the end of the year because I don’t think the size of their new weekly will work for me. I don’t know if I’ll try to go back to my hobonichi weeks or try to find something else. Oh and I also grabbed your collab planner with Ashley Shelly and I love it!
Hello! Thanks for taking time to share your line up with me:) I love that combo of the Weeks and the A6. But I can understand the pull Simplified has too;) LOL. I am glad you are enjoying the Ashley Shelly Collab:)
I love seeing how you use your planners. Its always so inspiring. I didnt touch a plannner most of March, but getting vack into it now. Im in the MakseLife horizontal for goals, journaling, and gratitude and the Spaces Planner for to dos and weekly schedule. I've been trying to use my Ashley Shelley for appointments and my sol planner for time blocking, but still working on it!
You've got great planners there to rely on:) Jumping in and out I think is so normal. I love how you are using Makselife Horizontal:) Have a great weekend!
Oh, this was so much fun, Amanda. Thank you for sharing. I have a corporate job, and we use Google Calendar for work, so all my schedules are on the computer. However, I like paper planners for personal use. I use Planner Perfect for daily routine and habit tracking. Inspired by you, I ordered your ASHLEY SHELLY planner and useing it as a wall planner at work (I loved that idea from you). For the top three daily priorities, I have a LAUREL DENISE planner. I also ordered an ERIN CONDREN life planner just because I love it and can't imagine my life without it. For journaling, I use Hobonichi; the ghosting doesn't bother me, and I love the paper quality. I'm also using a Hobonichi A6 for journaling.
Hello:) I loved hearing about your line up! I hear you on just needing an EC on the shelf...I can't imagine a year without an EC either at this point;) And I love Hobonichi for journaling too...the ghosting doesn't bother me one bit for journaling...in fact I like it! Just not for planning;) Have a beautiful week friend:)
Amanda, I just changed my planner (again) this week. My main planner until now was Hemlock and Oak, undated weekly. I am now including a half letter discbound. I need additional pages so I may develop new planner pages this weekend.
I have been using an EC vertical for the last several years, which I love. It’s my one and only catch all. I just ordered a passion planner today to try out since they have an incredible sale right now. I only paid $3.14 for a 2024 weekly! After shipping it came out to about $10 but can’t beat that!
I feel like I've been all over the place which usually doesn't bother me. Now it has been bothering me so I'm trying to go back to basics. Flipping through old planners has helped. I've kind of jumped ahead to 2025 and what I will not be doing next year planner wise. A planner find for me has been the Inamio weekly planner that I got from Amazon. I've also been really enjoying the She Plans Sewn Daily Planner. Also still enjoying my Happy Planners.
Thank you for sharing how you are feeling Jen. I think many can relate;) I have never seen the Inamio weekly planner. I will have to look that up! I am glad to hear you are enjoying She Plans and Happy Planners;) Sometimes we just really have to sit down like you said and have aplanning session about what is working and what's not;)
I love your videos! I am using Laurel Denise (as reviewed by you). I really love it! I can put all of my thoughts and structure out my time wonderfully in it. I use a notebook to write down new To-do's or just clear my head of important to-do's during the day and transfer to Laurel Denise later. I also love the monthly Planner Perfect planner. I use it for my fitness and it is perfect (ha!) because of the 4 days of notes in between each month. Still I love to keep learning about planners and planning!
Aw, thank you for the kind words:) Thank you for taking the time to share your line up:) I am so happy the LD is working so well for you:) I am still in that for my content planning as well as the new wellness planning I shared here;) I love how you are using the Planner Perfect Monthly notebook!
I'm going to have to either add that Erin Condren pen case to my wishlist or just go ahead and buy it for myself. My brain functions best when things are discretely organized. I'll also be checking out the FriXion pens available through Passion Planner.
I don't think it is too many for you considering many of yours are used in different ways. For me, I want 2 at the max. My daily is a Hemlock and Oak that I just got and started on April 1. My weekly is the Laurel Denise that I grabbed back from the family command center area because my family prefers our old whiteboard instead.
Hey Susanne:) I love that your family let you know they wanted the whiteboard back! LOL:) At least you got to use the LD;) And I understand wanting only 2! I often wonder what will happen to me when I retire someday?! LOL. It won't be anytime soon...but I used to be only a 2 planner girl too:)
I love your videos. I' m glad to hear you say you are a homebody. I am too but I feel guilty about it sometimes. EC is my main planner but I refuse to pay full price for it. I recently got my 2024 EC vertical. Due to a misprint in the month of Dec. They ended up s ending me 3 planners before they got it right.
Don't feel guilty about being a homebody:) We like what we like! The social media world makes us feel like we need to be out doing things all the time. So many of us love being at home and are introverted. We need all types of people! i agree that you can always wait for an EC sale. And crazy with the misprint! I am glad you finally got one that was right. Have a good week:)
Good news/bad news. Checked with your films again, and getting a Laurel Denise. My bad, too late I remembered I should have gone through your posts to order. Sorry amanda. If I love it the way you do, next years calendar from them, I'll go through you!! You really sold me on this.
I am happy to hear my videos are helpful to you:) I understand forgetting the link. Thanks for keeping it top of mind next time;) I hope you love and enjoy your Laurel Denise when you get it!
I am not sure how you got to view this early! LOL. It is set as unlisted and won't go up till Friday at noon! But yay for you! Not great for the RUclips system...I need to check on this;) I am glad you were excited for it though.
I love that out of all of those the A6 Hobonichi is the one you use most! That is such a great little daily. I have used those for 2 different years in the past;)
Sorry for got to also ask is there holiday stickers to use in A5 like new years valentine day ect will you link some below for me to find hope this makes sence
I am so sorry I am confused on the question. Can you give me a little more info? I filmed this video several weeks ago and now my son edits for me- so I don't remember everything I shared in it...which is probably why I can't link what you asking about;)

Plum Paper has teacher planners also with ways to customize. Laurel Denise has a very different teacher planner...that should be launching soon too I think:) Hope that helps some:)

I have been loving my Season by Season planner from Cultivate What Matters. I am going to shrink it down because daily planners are just so huge!!
Daily planners are chunky! You mean you are going to take some pages out of it? I am glad you have been loving it:)
