Someone please tell me what I’m missing here…. So people pay, at a non-discounted rate to have someone else open their packs and boxes for them? I mean, if he was offering a deal then I’d understand but why wouldn’t you just go to Walmart and buy these boxes and have the cards in hand rather than watch some other guy open your packs… what is the point?

Reason they don't do em for baseball is big price difference in prizm baseball then prizm football n basketball. Top rc bb and fb is hundreds of bucks baseball is $20

key is Panini has direct retail print runs after the initial with little to no 'hits'. Still huge to hit a silver or green variation but the odds of hitting anything else from panini retail after the first run is little to none. I still agree the tins are a great concept of the mixed packs, but panini's re-prints make the packs pretty 'basic'.
*you could REALLY see this with 19-20 basketball where early retail was great and later retail had zero hits. They just reprinted the basics like crazy since retail only HAS to provide silvers and greens. Seems logical they kept the same pattern after the Zion craze.

Sssooo, just curious how more $ & less parallels = a decent value? Love the bowman line but it just gets more expensive & if they do give you more parallels it costs more or they invent new ones to further water down products. I buy less every year, mostly because of cost & availability. Can’t stand it less stores in my area carry them & lost an incredible amount of hobby shops in the last 10-15 years or so. Went from over 20 shops to go to, down to 2 & we actually have a double aa team here. I miss collecting when I was younger not as much fun as it used to be. Damn that makes me sound old

You can barely find them out here in Northern Nevada either. The only LCS here doesn't even stock sports cards, I'm always missing out on the MVP buy backs, national sports card day, and hobby trade nights.
