I have also been to many doctors and they explained that if my body is below the healthy body fat percentage, I will not menstruate, because your body perceives that you are starving and switches to survival mode to save as much energy and blood as possible. Because of this, she wouldn't be able to accept a baby if it turned out that way, since she doesn't have enough nutrients and energy.
Because when the period passes, it is because the ovaries stop producing hormones so that a baby is not accidentally conceived when it cannot be carried and nourished in a healthy way. In such cases, the person becomes infertile (unable to conceive) until the body does not return to its normal weight and body fat percentage, which would be able to carry and support a baby. This is also why you said that there are thin girls whose menstruation lasts a short time. (fortunately, it hasn't passed for them yet, but because of the above, it is shortened so that the body loses less blood and energy when it already has little)
The problem with this is that it really cannot be remedied with anything else, because it is related to your weight and body fat.
My periods only came back when I gained 3 kilos, even then with difficulty and for a short time, because after that I lost weight again, and my periods stopped again.
