Actually I was asking the same question. I had to learn about it first. You can find a short story about switch node in the description. Thank you to looking at the video.
in my testing and in my explainer video I used the switch node to create a 3d scene where I could control what camera, lights and what expression paperdolls had ... kind of like in a Visual Novel scene. In another project I made an overlay patternthat I could quickly change the chape of using the switch node. Then you can save that out as a macro / effect that can be used int he edit tab. In another tutorial I am working on I's showing how to create a fake computer interface to be used in a screen replacement where the user get's into a chat conversation with someone and I use the switch node to quickly swap out the text in the text input box of my fake chat program (that video is being edited right now). In this example it saves me from having to use a ton of different merge nodes and then keyframing their blend value on and off for example. The switch node has a lot of potential.
Silmple, clear, no useless and boring chit chat
Thank you very much appreciated.
Same here. I needed 4 videos to understand about switch mode. Good one.
Thank you.
Switch node useful within a large project. Good video.
Yes, thank you.
Finally a video explains simple turn what is switch none all about. We'll done.
Thank you.
Thank you, but why the added complication when you could do the same thing in the edit page?
