Glad you like it! Thank you for the kind comment and feedback. Not sure if you use Springboks connector for the R10? BUT it is same connector I use on the channel Springboks MLM2Pro Connector. If you download it, it also supports the Garmin R10 Bluetooth connection and combines it with the webcam putting. So one could follow along same as how I set it up with the MLM but simply choose Garmin R10 in the Springbok General Settings instead. :) His connector connects to multiple LM's :)

@@loganrupert6209 it can! If you check out the Fix Putting video for Garmin R50: I show in there how to get the Garmin as a source on your PC. You can then use that source option in OBS to project it on your floor. Involves a usb capture card and hdmi cable (Both linked in the Garmin R50 + Webcam Putting Video)
this is awesome. I followed your steps but created a white box for my hitting box. How do i minimize or hide putting projection while hitting irons and driver and hide the hitting box when i want the web cam putting box
Webcam putting window be "above" the hitting bock layer in OBS (on top of it). Then the key is having the Springbok Connector Setting for Putting window set to "Minimize". This way when the window minimizes, the source in OBS disappears. So when putter is selected, it maximizes and re-appears. Does that make sense?

Great Video! Question for you, how do you have it switch between scenes automatically depending on input, say putting vs. all other clubs? I am hoping that when GSPRO triggers the webcam putting due to being on the green or it is selected, that the putting tracker will show up and once putting is complete and GSPRO switches back to the other clubs, the hitting area outline shows up without having to change the scene manually in OBS. Thanks in advance.

I really love the putting line. Could you just draw a line through the hitting box (that you made at the 27 min area) and have that displayed as i put through the eye mini?
Absolutely could. You can design and draw any line, drawing, or image that you can think up. 🙂. Great question but can quite literally customize it in any way that fits for you!
Wow. 100 comments. Great job! Question: what happens when they're left handed? Are two projectors needed? Can one projector work, but flip the display when a lefty is on tee? I absolutely love this. pro tip: create an 'instructables' in .pdf?
Great stuff! Inspiring! Wondering, if I have an R10 but also have 2 high speed cameras hooked up to Kinovea, could I set up a replay from 2 angles to show on the floor?
@killer1ace yes you could set up the replays that way. You could hard wire to the projector as a 3rd display… if don’t have enough hdmi to do it might take buying a docking station that allows you to have 3 displays… maybe a usb C to hdmi could work to wire direct to the projector and add as 3rd display.. I would really need to know more about pc and set up to give you a proper solution
Great video! What is the offset of the projector? I have webcam putting very close to the wall (2 feet), and I wonder if I can tilt the projector enough to get similar results.
Ben awesome videos! Keep them coming. I do have a question. My web cam is off to the side, not overhead... so when trying to match up the 2 webcam putting images it doesn't really work. Do you know of any fix or work around.
I have a gc3 with gspro, now can I still use the putting tracker but not have it read the putts for the game since gc3 has fantastic putting. I'd like to use it to track the ball to see how my putts roll for aiming, especially when doing scrambles for fun in garage
Can this be event driven? For example, show or hide scenes after a shot is hit? It would be nice to show the video replay of the shot, only after the shot is taken (and say keep it on the floor for 30 seconds, and repeat for the next shot)
Great question! And answer is yes… people have done this. I haven’t yet but would like to. There is a plugin called advanced scene switcher for OBS. In this you can create and build macros that switch the scene automatically based on an event. For example set a sound event where when above certain db the scene switches for 10 seconds and then reverts back. Sound being the sound of a ball being struck. Always highest level sound the room microphone hears. But can be setup and triggered a number of ways. I know this was vague but it can be done. Search up OBS scene switcher and lots out there 🙂. If I get one set up before you maybe I’ll put out a quick how to 😉😎
Dang this is awesome. I’m assuming by duplicating this is not possible but is there a way to display club data on the floor and not on the sim screen displaying GSPro? Ideally I’d like to remove data from my impact screen and have it displayed on the floor
amazing! how the is the projector mounted so that it points straight down? Can you provide the mount used and any tricks with aiming it properly at the floor?
Great Question! It’s at about a 45 degree or slightly steeper angle mounted approximately 5’ to the right of the hitting zone parallel to target line so as to not cast a shadow. The mount I used is in the description, but try this link 🙂 amzn.to/4fReGwC Thank you for comment and for watching!
Thanks for your videos! Currently planning my sim room and excited to implement the overhead projected data. Very cool. I’ve had trouble finding info on “webcam putting”. Is this a feature only through Rapsodo? Could I implement it into a Trackman IO set up? Thank you
Quick question. Can i get your opinion on projectors, do we need good ones or those portable ones are sufficient. So 1 projector for the impact screen and another for the floor projection? Also with lighting, if using the MLM2 PRO, if the room is dim, will it still detect shots accurately or better to have a spot light to the impact area?
Hi, thanks for the great videos! I'm interested to know how you are handling the multiple displays in your system. Do you duplicate your monitor onto your projector or do you have it set up as a unique monitor? I am just setting up my first sim and wondering the best way to do it? My main projector is running in a custom aspect ratio so mirroring is a challenge for me. Essentially, I'd like to display the same screen on the Main projector as on my. main CPU monitor. I also have a floor projector like yours and again, am wondering how you set that up as a 3rd display and Pipe OBS to it?
To clarify: The Floor Projection is done with an OLD $50 projector. It's an NEC VT660 with only 1700 Lumens. Purchased for less than $50 on Facebook Marketplace. I believe it's 20 years old.
this is amazing! my only this is I have left handed buddies and a bushnell launch pro foresite (gc3). What would you do in this situation? I have to check out your video on how to add club video. I really want to do that
My boys are LH, me RH so I displayed everything I wanted in front of the hitting strip. Between it and the screen. Mainly using mine for putting so I had to place my projector more forward (toward screen) so there was no shadow on either side.
Thank you for the compliment! The concept will work with any software using a projector and OBS. Just add trackman window as your source and crop down and place the information you would like to see where you want it on your floor!
@@apb-36 you certainly could download the webcam putting app from alexx on GitHub, set it up, run it in background. Never “connect” it to GSPro but instead simply overlay it running on the floor while using your BLP or GC3
hi, I'm trying to replicate your sim box, what characteristics must the projector have to project to the ground? P.s sorry for my English but I use google translate
I have a question/issue. When I select "Fullscreen Projector (Preview) > MyProjector" I see OBS on the mat, but I also see the OBS widgets not just the scene so I can't be in edit mode and actually see it on the mat. I hope I explained it correctly.
I think the issue is that it’s not recognizing the chromecast as an extended display it’s a duplicate. So when I preview it also previews it on my laptop screen. The GSPRO projector screen remains ok.
Hey awesome work! I was curious if there is a way to set this up with offset hitters. Best idea I can think of is to have the second projector be in front of the hitting mat (between the screen & mat). Open to other suggestions though!
I would first try projecting down from behind the hitters possibly. But would have to play around with where the shadows peoples bodies cast. 2 could work but would need to OBS Scenes running and have room for 2 extra displays. I would initially try slightly to the rear and centered. I think that could work pretty good.
@@trpl_bgy I was thinking make the projector show full width, on both sides of the hitting matt, then create two separate OBS Scenes that have all the same data, but one for left side and one for right side, and the side not having anything displayed on it, have it someway that it is still dark that it isn't bright light shining down on the person. So the 4:3 perspective makes it harder, but at sat 16:9 you can project it in landscape mode. Does that make sense?
@bytor99999 just spitballing here. OBS scenes can be switched with a keyboard shortcut. Could program a button on control box or keyboard to switch between left and right when user steps up. Use 1 projector and flip between 2 scenes?
@@trpl_bgy I like the idea. I was wondering about the light from the projector that then would be over the hitting mat. Can I ask a favor, can you put your camera and mics that you use in your descriptions as well? I am putting together a place and I wanted to put a couple of cameras in each bay that would be great for recording. Thanks.
Is there a way to get this floor projection display with using a bushnell launch pro and a webcam? I’m wanting to add the visuals of webcam putting. What software are you using??
Great Question: The floor scenes you create will save and are a 1x set up. Its a matter of opening up OBS and selecting your scene to display on the floor. These are the added steps each time you start up the sim: 1. Open up OBS Studios on PC 2a. Right-click the center scene preview window and select - "Fullscreen Projector (Preview)" . This will project the Scene Preview window showing in OBS, so it will change the floor projection if you change different Scenes in OBS 2b. Right-click preferred Scene and select "Fullscreen Projector (Scene)". This ill project the specific scene you right-clicked no matter which scene you are previewing within OBS. *this is my preference* 3. Choose display related to floor projector from expanded menu 4. Minimize OBS
Hey there, I love this! I am finding that every time I reopen OBS, the projector isn’t showing the scene until I reallocate the floor projector. Is there a way to save the settings? Also, each of the window capture sources loses the window on reopen. So, I have to recreate sources each time I want to do this. Any ideas/help Thanks
I looked this up. Is it the app you have to pay $150 per year for ? Swing analysis? I will try to look for you and see what can do, maybe send me a link
So this is genius but I have thought of another option that would be great but I don’t know how to do it, if we could project down the straight target line as well as a “fade” line and a “draw” line (swing path) to visualise what to swing down to create an “out to in” and an “in to out”. The three could all be different colours projected down onto the hitting surface itself (I use a laser to do one but this could make it much easier to show which one you want depending what you are working on…) What do you guys think and how would we do it?
@@harrybristow this is a great idea and I’ve played with it a little myself. So the image of my hitting box in the video was created in Photoshop and is in principle a version of a projected floor visual aid. We could create an image of the target line in photoshop and add swing aid lines to the image or even a separate image to be turned on/off as a layer in our scene as we need/choose. Stance lines for ball position could be added.. many possibilities 🙂 We can really project ANYTHING you can think or dream up. Love the comments and ideas! Thank you!!!!
@@trpl_bgy wow yes I didn’t think about ball position, that’s also brilliant. I was just thinking about how it could work for iron and driver striking and swing lines are a fantastic way to visualise what we need to do as “amateur golfers” but there is no product on the market to do it so this could be really game changing if we can make a solution that we can use to do this….
This is awesome and definitely the next upgrade! Question on the putting camera, does that automatically display that source if putter is selected or is there a command you have to build into the overlay to have it display for putting? Right now I have it just on a spare monitor and just know GSPro reads from it only when putter is selected but not sure how that works with the projection where it’s not always displayed.
If you use Springboks connector he has a “minimize” feature for webcam putting and it so happens that this feature will hide it or make the “source” disappear in OBS when minimized. So using springboks connector the webcam will appear and disappear automatically based on putter being chosen in GSPro.
@@louispounds7486 Great Question. With a Chromecast or Roku or airplay type of device in you projectors HDMI you can extend your desktop wirelessly and eliminate the need for additional screens or hdmi outputs on your computer. (Windows Key + K) is the shortcut for Windows Wireless Display feature. You would need to have the chromecast on the same network as the PC.
Can you elaborate which model of Chromecast you used? There are several flavors of it on the market - most I see are ~$40 - a good bit over the $5 you paid.
Great question. I did not buy new. This is the exact model I found on Facebook Marketlace local to me: Google Chromecast 2nd Generation 1080p Portable Media Streamer (NC2-6A5) www.ebay.com/itm/266919142574?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28
Hi Ben, Will this work if you only have one monitor (say a laptop) to be able to set up the scenes including a cropped screen of gspro. To explain: I will not have a 16:9 Ratio, but I prefer that and since to go to 4:3 or 1:1 only seems to shrink (scale) the image and it makes the green (for instance) or anything in the distance way smaller making it look way way further away from you... I want to take an image of the 16:9 and crop out the areas that will be projected outside of my impact screen. Then send that data to projector 1 (impact screen) Which will crop all the data out of my view. This makes the floor projection very important to see the data! Then set up the projector two floor image as you have shown and then send that to the 2nd projector. So the question is: Can I do this without having multiple monitors? I guess another question is this. I bought a square and have ordered stuff to make everything, screen, flooring, hitting mat etc. I really like some of the reviews that "Golf Simulation Videos" has done for the square and it seems to be quite accurate and since you have used the square... Which putting do you think is more accurate?
Really great stuff! New subscriber after seeing this. Curious if you have any ideas on: (1) mounting suggestions for pointing straight down? (2) I might like to have that data all show up for like 10 seconds after the shot, then have some of it fade/drop off...is there a way in OBS to do that? Hope you have time to respond...I just went out and got a 5000 lumen projector off FBM for $350 to get this set up. Love the Chromecast trick! PS, I set up a virtual monitor in windows so OBS projects to a fake/virtual monitor that I can then Chromecast. So, not giving up one of my real monitors to duplicate for the floor-facing one. Thanks!
@joeslatt thank you for watching, the comment, and the sub! I mounted mine in front and at an angle because I don’t have to worry about left-handed hitters currently. Putting it at an angle allowed me to take the possibility of someone’s body creating a shadow. I think if it could be centered and straight down, you could avoid the shadow for both right and left if that’s what you had in mind. I have a link to the projector mount I used and with it you can mount from the ceiling and point straight down. It does 90° mount. There is a way in OBS where you can set up sound triggers, and tie them to scene switchers. I haven’t done this, but I’ve seen it done. This could be accomplished by putting a USB microphone near the hitting area, possibly hiding it.. adding that audio as a source to OBS. And then making that audio source a “trigger” source that you would use to switch scenes by creating a macro in the scene switcher. You could use a decibal trigger from the loud noise made at club impact for example. You would also have to preview the current scene and not a specific scene so that when it switches scenes your virtual monitors scene changes with it (versus constantly displaying a selected scene). I found this when quickly searching youtube ruclips.net/video/1RWLrhwPewM/видео.htmlsi=C7wptyMlyuDj3aH1 I’m going to have to look up virtual monitor in Windows. I think I understand it and can do it because that is an awesome idea. I’ve had users ask me if they have to add a 2nd screen so they can cast it... and previously thought they had to.... This is a great solution! Thank you for sharing!

What is the lighting in your sim room? I’m getting really washed out image quality with my lights on. I can’t seem to find a good combination for webcam putting and the floor projection.
May be fun to try using it simply as an overlay and not as an input. As in still let Uneekor send the putt data but match up the ball tracking so you have the floor visual. You can download ball tracking app by alexx on GitHub. Set it all up and dial it in so it tracks and is working. Then project the overlay. But never enable it to send to GSPro and keep using your Uneekor to send the data. This way you can get the visual just for visual purposes. You would need a webcam (in description) and the free app on GitHub. Make sense? Not sure if this helps.
I didn't quite get how you got the Rapsodo Impact Vision on the PC. It would seem that if you are using Springbok's connector, to the PC, then you wouldn't be able to use the Rapsodo app to the PC. I see you are doing it. Just not understanding how. Thanks for the great videos!
Great question! Not first to ask. I should have explained better and may do a shorter video showing how. I use Springboks connector in OCR mode where it reads the data using ROI reedings. Not in Bluetooth mode. I then add the screen mirror as a source in OBS and get the replay projected that way.
@@trpl_bgy Thanks for the response. I think I'll wait for the video. I think I like the 1 click of the Bluetooth connector to go backwards. Still it's a great concept to have shot vision and GSpro.
Great thing about springboks connector is that it has both the BT option for direct AND the OCR option. I used BT 90% with no replay showing. But if I do want impact, I can quickly switch to OCR using the same connector. But I totally get where you’re coming from here. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate you asking.
I am trying to find a projector, but I feel strange using Facebook Marketplace/Craigslist as I don't want to deal with figuring out how to meet up with the person etc. So I looked at Amazon, Ebay and wondered about those smaller mini projectors that are usually around $200. I wonder if those would work as well. Besides them taking up less room overhead. What do you think?
The projector I got off marketplace and use is on eBay for $50. But I have 12’ high ceilings. Mine is a NEC VT660k from 2003. Keep in mind with this one that it has no HDMI so you will need the RCA to HDMI adapter I have linked in the video description under accessories if you go with one that is this old.
I noticed in your intro that you are showing the replay video of the club coming through the hitting area which shows in GSPro after each shot. How do I find that as a source? Same with the putting line? Thank you very much!!
Just realized you had a different launch monitor than mine so the displays would differ. I have uneekor QED.. I would still need your advise please to how to find the source for the replay of the hitting area after the shot if you would be so kind.
I'm not sure precisely how to answer this but in general... You want to have your system up and running with all windows open that could have the potential to be a source. So if there is a window that houses the replay you're talking about, have it open before you start adding your OBS sources to the scene. Then when you go to "add source" in obs, choose "Window" as your source and then select the alread open replay window you are wanting to display. The dropdown choices for a window source will show ALL open windows or software open at the time you click the "add source" button. So the short of it: For any source you want to add. Have that window or software up and running FIRST. Then add a "window" source to your scene and select the program/window you want to add. I hope this helps... :)
Yep, it's this one that I'm using for floor projection currently. Paid a guy $50 on FB Marketplace for it. www.projectorcentral.com/NEC-VT660K.htm Future plan is when I upgrade main projector, I'll move my old "main" to the floor projector position : )
I have a question? I have a Mevo+ pro when I try using the connector it doesn’t connect to GSPro. What happens is the flightscope API screen connects, but I have the webcam putting working on the connector and obs all the things needed my only issue is it won’t connect to the MLM2. Now I’m not sure why and before I start diving into the source code I was wondering if you have any better ideas!!! Also I grew up in SD too….
This is pretty cool, If only you could project the data on the floor and be able to remove all the data from the screen simultaneously. That would provide the ultimate immersion in my opinion.
Got this working perfectly, until I noticed my webcam putting fps started to drop from 60fsp to 30fps...discovered that if I display anything from the gspro window it causes a fps slowdown. Any data from other windows has no effect, anyone else found this?
I’ve thought about doing a video and breaking it all down.. this was all DIY… projector, screen, floor, pc, launch monitor, hitting strip/matt, tvs…. on low end $6k ? Hard to say when you tinker and add/evolve as a weekly hobby 🙂
I'm liley going to do a short video on this. Lots of people asking same thing. But I'll attempt answer here quick. I use Springboks connector. To get the impact vision we need to switch to the OCR version of the MLM2Pro in the Launch Monitor settings. We then mirror the Practice Mode to our PC for the OCR readings on the connector to GSPro. In OBS I add the Screen Mirroring App (Samsung Flow) as a Source to my Scene. I turn impact-vision replays on in the app and then Crop in to my Floor Scene the part of the window where the replay pops up after each shot. :)
Thanks so much. A video would be great! I run the springbok connector via Bluetooth to the mlm2. Is there a way to use the Bluetooth and the OCR? Thanks!
Since you have great tech setup, I figured you might know the best answer. I plan on having Projector to screen and projector to floor, but I also want 3 external TVs attached to my Computer so that I can have different data/screens displayed to different places. But that adds up to 5 different outputs from my NVDA 4070 and not sure if it can support that. It seems hard to find affordable big screen TVs with DisplayPort to support serializing them, so what are my options? How many Outputs do you have coming out of your computer for your setup? Thanks for the help.
Ok, this might be the coolest thing I've seen on RUclips! You are remarkable! I'm guessing the inspiration came from the 2024 PGA show where we saw all of the projected data onto the floor at insane prices? My dream would be to have it visually show my club path directly where I struck the ball like this: FOCUS AI Club Tracer - ruclips.net/user/shorts3ipq8hUwcqM Would this be possible? I'm upgrading from the MLM2Pro to a Mevo+ to get club data, but I'm curious if any of that Mevo data could produce something similar to the FOCUS AI Club Tracer (perhaps the D-plane data?). Thanks! PS - what resolution is the projector that you picked up? 720p/1080i or is it 1080p?
Thank you! The focus AI is amazing stuff! very expensive but yes it was inspriing. I don't know if i can come up with a good way to do what it does with this simple of a set up but i'm always looking for fun easy inexpensive ways to do cool things so maybe possible :)... I'd have to look at the Mevo Data specifically as i'm not famiiar. If it has replay or images it makes from the data i could certainly be projected. Oh and the The projector I picked up is actually barely 720 resolution. it was made in 2004 and from a local school. not a lot of Horse Power needed for a projection on to turf it turns out :)

SO COOL! Thanks for another great vid. Can this be done/used with the Garmin Approach R50 and home tee hero?
@@loganrupert6209 it can! If you check out the Fix Putting video for Garmin R50: I show in there how to get the Garmin as a source on your PC. You can then use that source option in OBS to project it on your floor. Involves a usb capture card and hdmi cable (Both linked in the Garmin R50 + Webcam Putting Video)
@ thank you! Will try it out
this is awesome.
Perfect thanks

Just get the MLM2PRO since it records the impact vision through the camera and R10 is only radar so no camera
Also would be great to see more about how you mounted it, does the amazon mount allow the projector to point straight down?
Great Video! Question for you, how do you have it switch between scenes automatically depending on input, say putting vs. all other clubs? I am hoping that when GSPRO triggers the webcam putting due to being on the green or it is selected, that the putting tracker will show up and once putting is complete and GSPRO switches back to the other clubs, the hitting area outline shows up without having to change the scene manually in OBS. Thanks in advance.

Ok following your lead I have the benq 700 mlm2 building out my gaming computer hitting mat ordered similar to what you have done seems like a lot to connect the MLM to a PC do you feel the mlm is still the best option ??
Would there be any way to setup something like an "if this then that" type of trigger to switch this up for righty/lefty players?
I really love the putting line. Could you just draw a line through the hitting box (that you made at the 27 min area) and have that displayed as i put through the eye mini?
Absolutely could. You can design and draw any line, drawing, or image that you can think up. 🙂. Great question but can quite literally customize it in any way that fits for you!
This is amazing!

Also, what if you don't have more than 2 screens and are already using both?
@killer1ace yes you could set up the replays that way. You could hard wire to the projector as a 3rd display… if don’t have enough hdmi to do it might take buying a docking station that allows you to have 3 displays… maybe a usb C to hdmi could work to wire direct to the projector and add as 3rd display.. I would really need to know more about pc and set up to give you a proper solution
Great video! What is the offset of the projector? I have webcam putting very close to the wall (2 feet), and I wonder if I can tilt the projector enough to get similar results.
Great video. I’m almost done with my Sim thanks to your videos. Can you share the hitting area file?
Amazing! Thank you!

This is supper cool😎
Ben awesome videos! Keep them coming. I do have a question. My web cam is off to the side, not overhead... so when trying to match up the 2 webcam putting images it doesn't really work. Do you know of any fix or work around.
I have a gc3 with gspro, now can I still use the putting tracker but not have it read the putts for the game since gc3 has fantastic putting. I'd like to use it to track the ball to see how my putts roll for aiming, especially when doing scrambles for fun in garage
This is awesome! Anyone noticing any change in performance?
Great question. I don’t see any noticeable change in PC performance. Turned performance monitor on and goes up by 2% on CPU side. So negligible.
If I get one set up before you maybe I’ll put out a quick how to 😉😎
Is there a way to turn off the extra data on the main screen? Can obs send the main screen without the data to the main projector?
Dang this is awesome. I’m assuming by duplicating this is not possible but is there a way to display club data on the floor and not on the sim screen displaying GSPro? Ideally I’d like to remove data from my impact screen and have it displayed on the floor
amazing! how the is the projector mounted so that it points straight down? Can you provide the mount used and any tricks with aiming it properly at the floor?
Great Question! It’s at about a 45 degree or slightly steeper angle mounted approximately 5’ to the right of the hitting zone parallel to target line so as to not cast a shadow. The mount I used is in the description, but try this link 🙂

Thanks for your videos! Currently planning my sim room and excited to implement the overhead projected data. Very cool. I’ve had trouble finding info on “webcam putting”. Is this a feature only through Rapsodo? Could I implement it into a Trackman IO set up? Thank you
I'm assuming you can't hide the tiles on the main screen and still have them show up on the floor?
I also have a floor projector like yours and again, am wondering how you set that up as a 3rd display and Pipe OBS to it?
best hack ever
What projector did you use to cast the screen on the ground are they cheaper then the main one for the actual sim

My boys are LH, me RH so I displayed everything I wanted in front of the hitting strip. Between it and the screen. Mainly using mine for putting so I had to place my projector more forward (toward screen) so there was no shadow on either side.
thank you for such great content. I would like to ask if you think this will work with Trackman software?
Thank you for the compliment! The concept will work with any software using a projector and OBS. Just add trackman window as your source and crop down and place the information you would like to see where you want it on your floor!

How are you getting the projector as a new screen option? mine will only mirror what I have on my PC screen. not make an actual extended display.
I have a question/issue. When I select "Fullscreen Projector (Preview) > MyProjector" I see OBS on the mat, but I also see the OBS widgets not just the scene so I can't be in edit mode and actually see it on the mat. I hope I explained it correctly.
Try Right clicking the actual scene on the left bar and preview the scene itself.
Do I need to do the same steps at the beginning of every single round?
Great Question: The floor scenes you create will save and are a 1x set up. Its a matter of opening up OBS and selecting your scene to display on the floor.
These are the added steps each time you start up the sim:
1. Open up OBS Studios on PC
2a. Right-click the center scene preview window and select - "Fullscreen Projector (Preview)" .
This will project the Scene Preview window showing in OBS, so it will change the floor projection if you change different Scenes in OBS
2b. Right-click preferred Scene and select "Fullscreen Projector (Scene)".
This ill project the specific scene you right-clicked no matter which scene you are previewing within OBS. *this is my preference*
3. Choose display related to floor projector from expanded menu
4. Minimize OBS
Can you duplicate this setup with a GC quad and gs pro? I’d like the data tiles and the club head replay video to project down onto my hitting area.
You absolutely can. Same set up method just skip the webcam putting
Awesome. Am I able to get the club video replay through the impact zone?

Hey, is it possible to set up Mustard AI to analyse shot from MlMLpro2? That would be the cherry on top for this set up !!!
I looked this up. Is it the app you have to pay $150 per year for ? Swing analysis? I will try to look for you and see what can do, maybe send me a link
Yes it is … just wondering if you thought any more on the putting lines on 2nd projector aswell :)
How has the foam board held up
I can’t see nor feel any measurable difference from the day it was new. Holding up extremely well!
So this is genius but I have thought of another option that would be great but I don’t know how to do it, if we could project down the straight target line as well as a “fade” line and a “draw” line (swing path) to visualise what to swing down to create an “out to in” and an “in to out”.
The three could all be different colours projected down onto the hitting surface itself (I use a laser to do one but this could make it much easier to show which one you want depending what you are working on…)
What do you guys think and how would we do it?
@@harrybristow this is a great idea and I’ve played with it a little myself.
So the image of my hitting box in the video was created in Photoshop and is in principle a version of a projected floor visual aid.
We could create an image of the target line in photoshop and add swing aid lines to the image or even a separate image to be turned on/off as a layer in our scene as we need/choose.
Stance lines for ball position could be added.. many possibilities 🙂
We can really project ANYTHING you can think or dream up.
Very cool
Thanks for the comment! Thank you for watching!

There are many on ebay between $7-$15
Hi Ben, Will this work if you only have one monitor (say a laptop) to be able to set up the scenes including a cropped screen of gspro.
I found this when quickly searching youtube ruclips.net/video/1RWLrhwPewM/видео.htmlsi=C7wptyMlyuDj3aH1
I’m going to have to look up virtual monitor in Windows. I think I understand it and can do it because that is an awesome idea. I’ve had users ask me if they have to add a 2nd screen so they can cast it... and previously thought they had to.... This is a great solution! Thank you for sharing!

I’m pretty sure I saw that gspro is compatible with TruGolf Apogee now? Do you have any experience using that or know how compatible it is?
What is the lighting in your sim room? I’m getting really washed out image quality with my lights on. I can’t seem to find a good combination for webcam putting and the floor projection.
What is needed to do the putter tracking if using a uneekor?
Hey there. What is the model of the projector you got for $50? Trying to find something comparable.
NEC VT660K - I believe it is from the early 2000's :)
Yep, it's this one that I'm using for floor projection currently. Paid a guy $50 on FB Marketplace for it. www.projectorcentral.com/NEC-VT660K.htm
Future plan is when I upgrade main projector, I'll move my old "main" to the floor projector position : )
Keep in mind. The one I bought didn't have HDMI even.. Had to use a amzn.to/4dCZGkA to get the Chromecast to plug in to it.
@@blackhillsoutdoorsman5487 might be possible… let me so some thinking! Thanks for comment!

Got this working perfectly, until I noticed my webcam putting fps started to drop from 60fsp to 30fps...discovered that if I display anything from the gspro window it causes a fps slowdown. Any data from other windows has no effect, anyone else found this?
What does a complete setup like this run? Ballpark haha.
I’ve thought about doing a video and breaking it all down.. this was all DIY… projector, screen, floor, pc, launch monitor, hitting strip/matt, tvs…. on low end $6k ? Hard to say when you tinker and add/evolve as a weekly hobby 🙂
Amazing stuff!
How do you get the rapsodo impact vision to project? Is that off your iPad ?
Thanks!
My dream would be to have it visually show my club path directly where I struck the ball like this:
FOCUS AI Club Tracer - ruclips.net/user/shorts3ipq8hUwcqM
Would this be possible?
This is awesome!
