When you said the religious devotion of Ethiopians is strong unlike Europe currently, you reminded me of something. Most think Africans are still stuck with religion the Europeans brought them( the white man's burden to civilize Africa during colonial times). However, I'm proud to say that Ethiopia is the first country in the world to officially declare Christianity as its official religion(some say Armenia was the first). My point is orthodox has deep roots in Ethiopian politics and social life. These days however, the government is trying to subvert and destroy it by using corrupt bishops and wayward followers.
The Jews n Europe claims Jesus , but in the bible roman/whites n Jews killed n betrayed him , He praised Ethiopians, even comparing Ethiopia to Jews saying why they're not behaved / good like Ethiopians, . But they pretend like God loves them , he stated good things about Ethiopian , read bible,
Exactly. Dose he not know that Ethiopia is one of the oldest Christian countries in the world? It is more than just religion. It is also the he identity of the nation
There is a strong inverse relationship between religion and innovation(economic power) so whether the white man brought it or the brown man. It still holds back the country from reaching its full potential.
@@AfroMuggleKingYou’re absolutely correct! Foreign religions - like Christianity & Islam- is what holding Africans back, and made them hostages to medieval believe system- so conservative that it’s not compatible with modern education, required for industrialization and poverty eradication for our people. You know, Somalis and Sudanese - poorest and least developed among Africans, yet they’re more islamists than Arabs of the Middle East. The Ethiopians are equally poor and less educated, yet they act like they’re more Christians than Italians and British.
Great video. One clarification though. It is the Tabot, a representation of the Ark. Every Ethiopian Orthodox Church has at least one tabot. The actual ark is in Kidus Mariam in Axum.
Though, the ark is not like the old testament, The ark which the priest hold on there head is the lords table or the altar, in ethiopia we call it the ark
