  • Hi guys!
    It's a sad day. The bitcoin lottery machine has died! After 26 days of hashing strong it's hit the dust! Kind of. I'll be seeing what Canaan will do regarding repairing and replacing and if there's no luck I'll DIY it!

    Thank you for sharing your experience with the Avalon Nano 3. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve encountered. If the fan is still blowing but the background shows a fan failure or idle status, it could indicate a connection issue or a sensor malfunction.
    We did see that you've reached out to us about this issue and will have our after sales get back to you ASAP.

    I have two in my living room but was getting an issue with them disconnecting from the internet, the router was in same room. I've moved both into outside mining shed now with cooling fans etc and no problem for 5days straight now. Good luck

      Mine was disconnecting for the first few days then stabilised. I would recommend setting it to medium for now if you don't want it to meet the same fate! Updates will be posted

    That's interesting. The day after I received my nano I took it apart and removed the plastic mesh on the front. It helped with temps as it increased airflow

    • @BlueBearCrypto
      @BlueBearCrypto  Месяц назад

      I'm trying to keep mine together for now to not void the warranty. I think crypto miners need to get out of the mentality of needing to modify something as soon as you get it to make it run longer or more safely. If it dies it dies!

    Just a tip if you didnt know. To improve airflow, you could remove the back cover too, it just comes off like the front cover. It does expose the fans but i dont think thats really a problem...

      I bought it with the intention of getting the most out of it. Seems like keeping it on high mode might be asking too much of it for long periods, but if that's the case then it seems it shouldn't be an option to choose

    • @techology7567
      @techology7567 Месяц назад +1

      @@BlueBearCrypto Yes I agree it should not be an option to choose as you would want this to keep going long term possibly get 4 to 5 years out of it but maybe that's asking a little bit to much. Hopefully it can handle being on High as question is how long will those small fans hold out for before they give in considering it's something you will leave on 24/7?
