Could you imagine that there's a set of instructions for the employees to follow while consulting the animated volume, in which there is one that stipulates that if the argument between the characters escalates too much then the book must be again closed and store because they could tare each other and the pages themselves apart, destroying the whole item?
Short video to get me back into the swing of things after the holidays. Looking at the art for this video, there’s a few things I feel can be improved on, such as exploring more unique designs for the books and think more outside the box in future (this’ll hopefully get easier the more I solidify the world building). I also think I needed to refine a few of the drawings a little further but this was just a fun exploratory video and I don’t usually give my concept work too much attention to detail unless it’s a finalised idea🙌 Loads to do for the start of this new year, I’m looking forward to sharing more Nest Egg (and other) world building ideas here!
My goodness I adore your artstyle and worldbuilding, character/creature ideas SO MUCH! You have no idea, how much I am brimming with excitement with each video! Such fun ideas! The lore! The details! You are such an inspiration to me! (Makes a person want to use some of them to create their own stories! AHHH! But don’t worry, I won’t)
BOOKS, LORE, WORLDBUILDING!!! LETS GOOOOOO. I will always love your style, whatever you draw, and everything is so hmmmmm. Im going to eat them (book eater creature for the vault?, lol)
in a some sort of a story a mysterious wizard can leave some messages on different books throught the library and when someone discovers them , it can tells them a "secret" about magic or lead them somewhere interesting
Hi, saw your second video on this channel. Just wanted to say I love that you committed to an idea without worrying about how “realistic” it is or if it was feasible to turn into a game. Sometimes some ideas are worth taking seriously just for the pleasure of enjoying them! Subscribed!
@@caitlinhumphrey870 Thank you! I use a mixture of brush packs and edited default brushes on Procreate, usually the inking brushes I edit for linework ✨✨
That last book is great! it's the kind of concept that should be used more in fantasy stories, having all those talking paintings barely interact with each other always makes me fell like waisted potential
but they all look like books no? what if a book was like a different object that was read and treated as such? ah but these are sick, please don't take my comment as negative
@@shawnmm1 Thanks! Definitely something to explore more in future, I would like to try and push the designs further as the world building progresses a little more🙌✨

@Ssss-xd8hb Please make sure the book does not self- destruct📖✨

@@olefireval Thank you! I feel like I’m still evolving the style for the project, but I do like how it’s progressing🙌✨
Wait that last book with character intended to share info but they end up just arguing is such a wonderful idea!

@joyrose7304 Thank you! I thought it’d be fun for the books to be their own little worlds, it reminds me a little of the Inkheart book series🙌📖✨
