- Stars of the Alien and Terminator franchises Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, and Edward Furlong gave a panel at Steel City Con December 2022 to talk about these sci-fi franchises, their experiences, and to answer fan questions.
Lance Henriksen played Detective Hal Vukovich in The Terminator and Bishop in Aliens, plus various versions of Bishop in Aliens vs. Predator and various Aliens video games. He is also known for his roles in Hard Target, Hannibal, Static Shock, Powder, The Quick and the Dead, No Escape, Damien: Omen II, and many, many more.
Michael Biehn played Kyle Reese in The Terminator and Corporal Hicks in Aliens. He is also known for his roles in Tombstone, The Abyss, Clockstoppers, Adventure Inc, The Mandalorian, The Walking Dead, and many more.
Edward Furlong played John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and is also known for his roles in American History X, The Green Hornet, Detroit Rock City, The Mortician, CSI: NY, Pet Semetary II, and more.

I used to think MB was always drunk at these things, but found out he stopped drinking and that he had a stroke. Love him always, binged M-7 over Thanksgiving.
Edward Furlong is the epitomy of coolness. Henriksen and Biehn are down to earth guys and great actors at the same time. Awesome meeting. These guys really have interesting things to say. Love to see them in such a good mood, they made my day.
😮 you know ironically he recently started being cool,. My opinion within the last 2 years or so. When he was caught up with his little scandal with his little babysitter. He started losing traction for many many decades.
Biehn is looking extremely good.

Thank God he is he got new teeth. He stop doing drugs. That’s why he has the weight gain. I’m very happy for him. I hope I get the chance to work with these guys.

Mr Biehn is wonderful, he is like aging backwards as of late or something. I'm so happy for him, in decade old panels and interviews he seriously looked as if he was struggling with some nasty nervous system breakdown thing.
He had a stroke years ago; he's been in recovery.
Also a recovering alcoholic!

I had to stop a few minutes in, to check out Lance Henrikson's age. 82 is what I found out. Then realized it's not about age. Michael Biehn is doing his best to keep everybody comfortable.

Funny, young John Connor told the terminator he wanted to meet his dad, and the terminator told John that he will, John replied “yeah when I’m like 45.” Well Eddie is around 44 here, and he’s sitting next to his dad.

Nice to see the so called supporting actors. Theyre just as important than the main characters.
Could you imagine if Edward Furlong returned as John Connor in T3, with James Cameron directing again... and they brought back Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese? Where Sarah Connor died, and a new time traveling T-800 secretly saved Kyle Reese dying during the events of T1 because it was imperitive that he continue Johns training after Sarah died.. but they kept in hiding so Sarah would continue to train John, and the events of T2 still happened the way they happened... having the 3rd film focus on father/son and Arnold being a good Terminator protecting them... that would've been the ideal dream 3rd film for me.

I also think it would've added to the incredible love story that is T1.. although Kyle Reese wanted desperately to be with Sarah, and raise his son, he had to stay in hiding because of the future of mankind. You could've also had Linda Hamilton return in flash backs taking place after T2 leading up to T3 and her death.. getting new Sarah Connor scenes.
I would've loved to see Edward Furlong get a female love interest similar to what we got in T3.. and would've been so great to see Kyle Reese return, and get to be the father figure similar to what we got with Sarah in T2. Also seeing Kyle Reese team up with Arnie would've been badazz, especially with an older Furlong John Connor. Too bad we got what we got, we should've had something insanely special to make the ultimate trilogy.

What an intelligent way to put three actors in a conference like this, three actors who all worked in both movies being discussed, so cool!....One question, how can I keep track of which companies arrange for some conferences like these? wether it's a huge conference to smaller ones. I think the smaller ones are even better, where all the actors have their own table and you can just go from one table to another. :D

I know that Michael hated one director. During Michael Rosenbaum's podcast and YT's channel, He extremely disliked one director who replaced other from the movie, Tombstone with Michael was playing Johnny Ringo of Cowboys. Because that director mistreated all: crew, other actors not the main actors including Michael.

Am I the only one? This was a little hard to watch. I mean not terrible but… I know MB has had his struggles. Is he drunk or is it symptoms of something else? Actually both he and LH seem messed up. MB toward the end is doing something behind the table with his feet and making funny faces. Their answers seem cogent in content but their demeanors are kinda freaking me out a little.

Love these actors and the Cameron movies they have been involved in, but they are obviously just doing this for money. Michael Biehn seems bored half the time, Furlong basicly dont remember much of anything and Lance Henriksen is confused and tired during the whole panel.

Biehn has had decades-long problems with alcohol, and also suffered a stroke.
He definitely shows signs of brain damage.
But I still think he’s wonderful.

I think it was an opportunity for he and his wife to essentially create their own projects.
If you listen to him talking about being approached for Terminator, he clearly thought it was possibly going to be a dud project, yet he and his wife have made grindhouse/exploitation films.
He seems to absolutely adore his wife, but I don’t know how she could encourage him to do these trashy projects (presumably as vehicles for herself).
Despite his troubles, he was such a classy guy, from a classy background.
She seems an odd choice for him.
As long as they’re happy, I guess.
But I hope he steers clear of these garbage projects that are frankly beneath him (except for needing money, I suppose).
