What I love about the cinematography in Moonlight is that a movie doesn’t always need a big budget of millions of dollars to capture gorgeous scenes on camera. Just using simple shoots can also be just as effective as the more bigger and more complicated ones. Moonlight’s cinematography is simplicity at its best!
I was the key grip on the movie. It was the most difficult job I’ve done due to budget. The local crew was not very good. I’m obviously happy with the outcome, but this film cost me years off my life mentally haha!
