Hank was that character that I did not expect to like in the beginning, but I ended up liking him even more than Walter White. He is like that overconfident, douche friend or family member, but always has your back no matter how boring you are to him.
@@daisydan4538 you are supposed to like Walter! And then you're supposed to unlike him gradually, which if you've ever been friends with a narcissist you'll know is a long process even in the face of continual shitty behaviour
100%
@Daisy Dan I still like Walt
@Daisy Dan In the sense of character writing, you are supposed to like Walter, that's the intent anyway. He is the protagonist of the story. What's really devious is just how far the viewers are pulled along into his world and find themselves trying to subconsciously justify the character's actions. But it gets harder and harder to do as the series progresses and Walt's nature reveals itself more.
Definitely by the time the show is over, I'm sure most viewers no longer "like" Walter. Heck, a lot of them think he got off too easy in the end.
Facts
Everytime the actors get emotional during interviews Bryan Cranston always comes in with an irreverant joke.
Yeah, I guess it is helpful, but I don't know.
Depends on the person.
He's the one who jokes.
Yeah sometimes we need to leave a moment alone.
@@n10tvtruongquochuy I see what you did there😂
The same goes for Jim Carrey. Somehow these guys can't resist to crack a stupid joke even though it's really not their moment. I always cringe at it.
Such a wholesome moment between Dean and Betsy. The whole cast seem like wonderful people. It was a pleasure to watch them on screen
not even 15 seconds after stopping herself from crying Dean starts talking and immediately breaks her, this is so sweet
“Is that why-“ “fuck you” 😂
he always cuts in with some bs when people get a lil too emotional 🤣
BB/BCS is the most epic series ever created.
It really is. I recently watched BCS (first time), then BB (second time through), and then El Camino (first time). Nothing better in terms of television. Watching BCS and then BB again, gives BB a whole new experience.
You should come to more funerals with me, ill be your wingman
Dean Norris has to be one of (dare-I say, Hollywood's) most underrated actors. He is truly magnificent.
Real. That garage scene was amazing acting from Dean

@@nikola5249 I'm glad some of us can agree.
Every man needs a woman like Marie in that elevator scene.
ive never seen people crying and laughing at the same time like that

It's really interesting how with very talented actors, the character bleeds into their persona and impacts them personally and off-screen. It's like the character really becomes a part of who they are. And I'll bet that can last a while.
sweetest thing i've ever seen omg
This is a scene that might bring a tear to the viewer's eyes, but look how emotional the actual ACTORS get just talking about it!
It is astonishing, the emotional limits actors will reach to find their characters. These moments here occurred over something that never actually happened.
It's so great to see two actors care so much about their characters. The fact that I despised both of these characters for most of the show - but knew the show wouldn't work without them - is a testament to these actors' skill.
Why did you despise them?
I liked them both.
Hank was the irreverent arsehole and Marie was always making me laugh with her air-headed shenanigans.
@@Winter-Alpha-Omega Hank, at least in the beginning, reminded me of a high school bully. Marie was a nosy busybody and complainer. I don't think we are supposed to like Hank & Marie, they are caricatures, and it's a credit to the actors that they brought these characters to life.
My take is rather than Hank being an asshole, he is a vulnerable sweet guy who wants good for ppl around him, but most of the time he laughs, make stupid jokes to hide that soft part of him. He’s one of many reasons why BB is magnificent show.
awwww
bless their souls 🌷🌷
The writers made it difficult with the Marie character but when she had her moments they hit like a ton of bricks (that elevator scene Dean talks about was incredible with zero dialogue). Plus I always thought Betsy seemed like the sweetest person and that helped too.
Favorite part was when Betsy told Dean to say “it’s Hankin’ time”
Why is she not wearing purple 😧
thats how you can tell she isnt playing marie
she broke bad
I was about to ask about that, even their coffee maker was purple.
I'm here for this comment!
Hank is the real "Good Guy/Hero" figure in Breaking Bad. What an amazing journey his character, and all the characters went on. So good.
It seemed like for just a few seconds, they were back in their characters again. It was like Hank really wanted to tell Marie, "I know I'm not easy, but thank you for being there for me".
Lol ok buddy, fantasize much
Beautiful
He said purity is a stupid word
99.1 % of the word is stupid
dean norris really was great as hank. i loved his character, i really did. his dumb macho sh*t and his human side of it all... next to jesse i loved his character the most!
he really really captured the cop persona down pat, they are almost all big teddy bear softies in reality
@@adamwatkins1150 what's the percentage of cops that are domestic abusers again? yeah... big teddy bear softies...
The show was great a casting great actors.
Oh, to be a part of something so wonderful. 🥰
This reminded me of the scene where they cry at the elevator...
She stole his heart like she stole that tiara......
Beautiful ❤️
I feel like Marie and Flynn are underutilized in BB. Wish they did more with their characters.
honestly they made the right call the show could of gotten bloated with more stuff with them like the stealing storyline
He took back that "purity" comment real quick because his old brother-in-law built his meth empire on purity
I did love their relationship.

Even though Dean was a tad rude and prideful towards Walt, he was true to his profession till the very end.
Bryan and Aaron getting made fun of on Its Always Sunny in June for their liquor business is going to be amazing.
So yeah... I have a crush on Betsy Brandt....
Dean needs his own cop show similar to NYPD blue!
My issue with Hank... is that he couldn't understand (after making the connection) that walt was dying... that skylar and the kids would be destroyed and everything taken from them, and he was ok with that. I get that he couldn't look the other way... but there was never really a moment where he said... should I.
Hank was overly obsessed at this point. It was impossible to let go. So the writers gave him what he wanted right before his own demise. Hank indeed should had let it go. But then we had Jesse, who knows how it would end up.
It's nice that they appreciate each other. It's kind of awkward to me though because he's talking about the character and Betsy is crying like her real husband is talking about her. Anyone else?
Awwwwwwww
She has so dislikeable character and she is so nice irl.
Betsy is a M1lf
M1LF's...the hell is a M1LF?

When bank died the show got a lot less interesting for me
there was like 2 episodes after that
Okay, so I don't get it. She just showed up in the elevator? And then what? Why was it nice? Was this a scene, or is Dean saying _he_ was having a bad day (maybe being a little too method actor-y) while playing Hank, and Betsy somehow cheered him up? They don't say.
Why does Betsy say it is "so beautiful" for Dean to say Hank wouldn't be the same character without Marie or Betsy "planner"? (no idea why he calls her "planner") On the face of it, it seems kind of obvious that his character would be affected by his wife's character.
The implication is he was having a bad day on set.
