Can a 5 '11 tall ride a medium size road or hybrid bike?

I am about 5 weeks in and a few hundred miles now.
Also have some 5 to 10 ten percent radiants - ratios are fine - not had any issues.
      Loving the bike.

Rim brake yes! If you don't ride in the rain and downhill over 45 mph, you don't need disc

Ive had this bike for around a month, been on around 8 rides and had both the front and bike tyre blow out on me, very scary on a busy road. Road condition isnt the best but fairly even, no collisions with potholes. 7 bar pressure in the tyre, any ideas why this has happened? Second time it happened i cut my leg quite badly and ive been a bit hesitant to get back on it.

I am around 165cm/166cm height (5'5/5'6) accoridng to triban sizing right at the end of xs and right at the beginning of small. For me kts hard to find these bikes to lhysically go and size so at my height could i go with an xs even though it states its for sizes 154cm to 165cm?

@@PNSinstant Go with an XS if you want something more nimble, S if you want something slightly more stable. Or order both and send back the one you don't want, Decathlon is pretty chill with their return policy.

No, you can't "upgrade" a rim brake bike to disc brakes. Wheels aren't the same, frame won't be the same, fork, groupset etc.

@@lanacbeks4579always go smaller if your size is not available. You can always adjust the seat post height and handle bar reach for longer. But can't make it shorter.

Exactly, you could be one unlucky crash away from a trashed frame, as aluminium is weakened after bending. Otherwise great bike for the money, i use the disc version for gravel.
