But you have to agree, Kim is the most professional and serious when work is involved. Her advice with Kendall was true. In a world of facade, pretending is the best offense. The moment you show you can't play their games, you won't last.
As an amateur, having that attitude won't open doors even if Kris is your mom and Kim is your sister. She needs to be serious and professional because a working world isn't just some "dream you want to fulfill". The moment you show how you think its all play, all doors will close.
Kim has social intelligence. She was around Paris Hilton’s group and picked up on all the social factors that come into play with fame.

These clips show that in that family, Kim is the one with the gift of foresight. She is thinking long term by figuring out a way to turn an interest into a career. It's one thing to be fond of the idea of modelling but it's another thing to make it work (with connections) to take it to the next level.

Careers are based on followers these days, and advanced skincare/workout regimes enable models to have long-winded careers, even long after their “prime” 25 is still super young, unless a company likes the prepubescent look and smaller hips, which is creepy af and shows how predatory the industry used to be..and still is tbh

So 14 isn't that young, and at her first professional photo shoot, the old guy lying on the floor says, YOU GREW UP. At 14, you are actually in your lower teen years, just coming out of the awkward, get on every older siblings nerves pre teen. It's too bad that all these children were thought of as moneymakers, and probably from when they were in the womb, to top it off, it's their MOMSTER, selling them for money. Now that's all they really think of, instead of enjoying life, being young, spending time with their families over spending time doing business. Everyone needs money to live, everything costs money, you can't live without money, but I would live in a tent with my child, way before my child spent more time with a sitter/nanny than they do with me. If I went to a.l these fabulous events, my child, who is the most important person to me, would be enjoying it right by my side. In the Shining he says the perfect sentence, All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy. She was too young at 14, already had enough family money to wait a couple years, to do some of the modeling being done, no man should have yelled at her 14 year old self and said, OH YEAH BABY. she said a young model- at the time she said that kendall was young model and she meant if she didn’t continue to work hard and take the opportunities and jobs given to her (which she did with the victoria secret runway) then she wouldn’t be able to carry on the way she wanted and would most likely, like her sisters be only making her own brands, selling things etc, although that’s not a bad thing, it’s obviously what kendall didn’t want to do and kim was just giving her the advice and help she needed to live her dreams.
