Peter having a Batman level of contingency plan for Goblin only to end up turning into The Spider-Man Who Gobs through some kind of activation phrase like from Bioshock or Call of Duty Black Ops is well...a decision I suppose.
And here we go again, only the differents that happens with this is that Spidey ends up getting his "Batman who laughs" moment with Gobby hitting a trigger code for the web warrior.
Yo, I honestly thought that Spider-Man would make a deal with the investor guy, like, "Hey, I can go up on the buildings and take pictures of apartments and places for you if you pay me." So he would have his job and make a little extra cash. It probably won't stop him from struggling, but... it could be better to get a little more cash...? I guess? I dunno.
Wow! What an issue and I loved it when Peter tricked Norman into bringing him to his lab. It is great to see the Green Goblin back and I really loved it when Norman played his reverse Uno card on Peter. What can i say the Green Goblin is my favorite villian.
This has NOT been a good week for Spider-man fans (both Peter and Miles!) Peter becomes the "Spidey who gobs" while over in Blood Hunt #2 out today, Miles gets TURNED by Blade into a vampire and will STAY a vampire moving forward after Blood Hunt is done
Also i am glad we got to fulfill thgoblin motivation from Sam Raimi Spider-Man and No Way Home. He knows peter has potential for evil if he was pushed enough.
do you want to know the wildest part of this story? it's bringing Norman back to what he was prior to his death in ASM 121, where the Goblin is a split personality from Norman
i am glad, we got a reasonable explaination as to why spider man became spider goblin as it was shown with winkler device implanting the goblin persona.
@azureheart2846 same, shame Joel doesn't adress that in his video. Also I know was likely going to be Michele Jones, but either someone didn't want that to be the case.
Honestly wish they did something different for a change than going back to status quo. Like imagine Queen Goblin was able to get a clone of Norman made and have the Green Goblin's mind transfered into it. That way we get Spidey's biggest enemy back, but can still have Norman keep his character development. Heck I'd just love to see a few panels where we see Norman and Goblin being able to have a physical conversation just to see what that be like. Norman trying not to crap himself, and Goby eating it all up

Jonah is just being used in the other books, like superior Spider-Man and spectacular Spider-Men and ultimate Spider-Man. He’s not being killed off. Besides, Peter hasn’t worked at the bugle in years, so of course that means that Jonah isn’t going to appear as frequently

The "Numbers" activation code, am I right?
Peter: Oh Paul
Paul: Oh god please no…..
Peter: Let’s go sighting seeing on the Brooklyn Bridge again.
Nope, after this transformation, Peter will be fighting the re-assembled Sinister 6

Such a lovely date of bro-mance
Peter got that joker smile going on

Pretty much, Similiar to Zur-en-arrh being activated via code words
Honestly this was better than usual
Yes, but not by much
The bar's pretty low
Wells gets a chance to bury Peter even more so that no one else can revive him. Great job, Zeb.
Actually, that's Editorial, NOT Wells! Wells is only following orders and not because he wants to!

Exactly. Now hated and not on speaking terms with the hero community

So far no, Wells is good at writing villains
Yeah he wrote Paul which is peters most evilest villain
Tbh, I find a funny that they completely undid all the good he’s done for the past 2 years within six panels
Yes and yes. It was sad but very very effective
I'm honestly surprised that I enjoyed it this much, but sad for Noman being a Goblin again

Liked using the creepy voice for the poem
Me too

Yeah we know Norman would be back to goblin again.
You can tell the gave a slight damn about this issue because it didn’t come out the same day as USM.
Well, it came out the same week and time as Spectacular Spider-Men and Superior Spider-man, both of which are far superior

I'd rather see Peter turn into a spider monster. At least that's true to his origin.
