This version is honestly my favourite song ever. For years I've not been listening to German music as I had not found something I really love, but some months ago I discovered this band (with an English cover on an English channel...) and I really dig everything they are doing, be it their covers of English songs, often done as collabs with other great musicians, be it their original songs in German... under another comment I already up voted a suggestion for their original "Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen" (also in the special "Proberaum session" arrangement...), but I think for your international audience it'd be great to listen to some English covers by them, so they can build a bond with Henning's really great voice... once folks became addicted to his vocals they often start listening to AMK's German songs, and I've read lots of comments by people from all over the world who started learning German because they love this band so much and want to be able to understand what he's singing about without a lyric translation... and others who said they listened to a song that often that they can sing along even though they don't understand a word.... :) Great English covers are 'Tom's Diner' (Suzanne Vega) with Giant Rooks (their singer has a great voice too, and the energy they draw from each other is hilarious...), The Police's "Roxanne", "Can't Get You Out If My Head" (Kylie Minogue), or "Valerie" (Amy Winehouse) with an English lady, and there are more (Beatles and all sorts of things...) Finally I have a special recommendation, this one's for you, just Henning's great voice and a piano, the b/w video shows him with headphones, smoking, on a rooftop somewhere in the south, obviously listening to his own recording, covering Elton John, utterly beautiful - I don't know the backstory, haven't found this recording anywhere else, only on this very small channel by 'Javier Sosa', but it's a rare gem on the internet - if you think it's not suited for a reaction then do yourself a favor and listen to it right away, you can thank me later... one lady in the comments wrote "Dude if I was 13 again, I'd have posters of this man everywhere in my room.:" - I think after listening to this you will feel exactly the same :) - the answers are fun to read as well... "Ich mag ihre Art..." is just "I like her way...", if the sentence continued with "...of (thinking, talking, dancing)". "I don't know anything at all" is "Ich weiß überhaupt nichts" in German, but he sings "I don't exactly know, why I like her this much.". Just two examples from the start, that made ne wonder.

You might check "Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen". It's probably a little bit more interesting in a psychological way. Proberaum Sessions as well. The song is just great.
Great Band Live even better. I saw them Live 4 Times. My recommendation is Die Toten Hosen a Great Band as Well i saw 3 or 4 Generations on thier Conerts.

As you are doing more German music at the moment, try checking out Seeed (for example Dickes B) or Tocotronic (for example Eure Liebe tötet mich). If you have not done so before.
They did an amazing Cover of "Roxanne". In my opinion one of the best Cover Versions I have ever heard. You can also have a Look on Asche zu Asche from Swiss und die Anderen. Very emotional and sad Song, nur beautiful music. And all fits together. Check it out, please.
You should check out Jake Kohn. The kid is 15 and his music sounds like it’s coming from a world weary 40 year old. Specifically “Frostbite” is an absolute gem

Rosalie, I don't know how you feel about hardcore music, but there are some pretty interesting party-core bands out of Germany that I think would be fun to react to. Electric Callboy is a mix of singing and screaming, and is in English. We Butter The Bread With Butter (WTBWB) is a duo that is bit heavy but still in that party-core style, in German only. Both don't take themselves seriously so they are heavy/electronic/comedic which is a breath of fresh air. WBTBWB - 20 km/h or Electric Callboy - We Got the Moves (has some sexual themes). You do great work!

"Ich mag ihre Art..." is just "I like her way...", if the sentence continued with "...of (thinking, talking, dancing)".
"I don't know anything at all" is "Ich weiß überhaupt nichts" in German, but he sings "I don't exactly know, why I like her this much.".

Great Band Live even better. I saw them Live 4 Times. My recommendation is Die Toten Hosen a Great Band as Well i saw 3 or 4 Generations on thier Conerts.

Rosalie, I don't know how you feel about hardcore music, but there are some pretty interesting party-core bands out of Germany that I think would be fun to react to. Electric Callboy is a mix of singing and screaming, and is in English. We Butter The Bread With Butter (WTBWB) is a duo that is bit heavy but still in that party-core style, in German only. Both don't take themselves seriously so they are heavy/electronic/comedic which is a breath of fresh air. WBTBWB - 20 km/h or Electric Callboy - We Got the Moves (has some sexual themes). You do great work!
