My beautiful Phoenix was given to me by an employee at Pet Supplies Plus. He was considered DOA and was not sellable. When she found out I had a little experience, she said i could have him if i would try to nurse him back to health. He is now a happy, healthy, gorgeous dumbo fin.
The best I was able to do was ask the cashier for a discount on a betta that was obviously extremely sick. They gave me 50% off and said we could refund if we failed to heal him. Unfortunately, we weren't good enough to save him, but for the small time we had him, he was part of our fish family and we didn't go back for a refund.
❤❤❤ I got a short body plakat a couple years ago and the guy was already 3. He had fun chasing all the other little fish and swimming in the dwarf sag. Picked up 2 L-11 zebra plecoes yesterday and can't stop watching them.
On the legality of taking fish that are in or throw in or by the dumpster. It is completely legal. Dumpster diving is not illegal if a company chooses to put something in the trash. It is no longer private property. It is a discarded property. Anybody can come by and take or look through discarded property. you're just dumpster diving for fish
