Encountered SW900 ERROR 09 on the rear hub motor E-bike MTB Conversion. Troubleshooting and fixing the error by replacing the defective/busted mosfet FHP100N07 inside the e-bike controller. Replacing blown motor controller mosfets of and ebike.

Hello friend, I recently bought an electric bicycle, at first it set the speed well, but then it set a speed that was not, it went up to 99km/h, from one day to the next it was that, I suspect that there was a short circuit because it did not suffer No mishap with the bicycle overnight, I am not an electrical technician or similar, I am just an enthusiast, I don't know if it is the hall sensors in the engine that are blown and that is why it sends an erroneous reading on the screen that appears 99KM/h as I mentioned, that is, some mosfet like it appears in your video that has blown. The bicycle accelerates very hard without going through the speeds, it had 5 pre-established speeds, but the accelerator increases with greater force without going through any speed, as if it were only one, it advances but it shows 99Km/H as I mentioned, it is a planetary motor of fatbike 48v 1500w, the display is an M5. I hope you can give me some tips to fix it because I can't calculate the distances correctly because of this error that always indicates 99Km/h when moving forward. I also checked the motor to see if the magnet had fallen off, which they then say is out of place but it seems that that's ok. As a curious fact, when you tow it backwards or in reverse, the bicycle marks the KM/H well but when you move forward it does not mark anything, if you accelerate it it always goes up to 99KM/H... what could it be? I hope you can help me... thank you for reading me.

I have some questions first, what is the flux question that you used and did you need the tin to install the circuit or just tighten the screw and are there differences between the electrical circuits because I did not find the same model, but I found the exact same shape, can you help me please please I have the same error 09 kontroller problem

Good day Sir Hamed, the flux is just an aid to the wetting ability of the solder for a uniform flow once the solder is placed. Upon replacing the damage one, I screw it first on to the aluminum heat sink before soldering to the board so that it won't move when soldering.
Actually I also did not find the exact model, the one that was damage if you take a closer look on timeline 8:14, it is a AC165A Q8B but what I found was only a AC165A Q8C, but it did work, maybe the Q8B was of the lower rating while the Q8C was rated higher. What I noticed after the replacement during the test drive is that sometimes it would not provide assist and sometimes cut off the power, so I tried adjusting the P14 w/c was for current limiting of the controller from 10 and adjusted it to 15 and works perfectly fine. Hey I have a error 09 issue on my sw900 the screen turns on and so does the battery however when I use the throttle it doesn’t drive does that mean I need a new motor aswell?

Unfortunately Sir I am not an expert on this and really no idea why the mosfets shorted out or damaged. I'll try to dig deeper why did it happened. Tnx.

Hello, error 9 is a problem with the contrailer, but I disconnected the contrailer and the battery and the ride is just as heavy, although I could drive easily before, so the problem is in the motor wheel?

I have error 09 only occasionally when driving, reboot usually solve it.
What can possibly cause it?
No idea really Sir, but I guess one of the mosfets have heating issue.
@@RollyPetz More data: sometimes it fixes itself after few seconds. And after disconnecting phase wires and connecting them back, this error doesn't appear anymore.

gon change motor phase wires terminal ends from motor and controller for better fit then monitor for a few days.

Error 11 is Communication transmitting issues. (Between controller and display), try to unplug the cable going to the display and try inserting it back firmly.

Good morning. If it's difficult for you to open up the controller, you may have it checked by an electronics technician and have the mosfets checked for a possible busted or burned out mosfets. Just have it replaced and try to test it out again. The worse thing is to have the controller replaced with the same specification. Thanks.

I’ve busted a few but can’t match the number on the Mosfit.11ON7F6 GF171 MB CHN829.The KT Controller LSW1599-3-2M 36V 15A Controller for Electric Bike 36V 250W. There no obvious reason why it’s blowing Mosfit. Changed the throttle and checked the wire and tested the battery. Would be great full if you can let me know link and Mosfit that would work on this controller
@@kevinboyle393 good day Sir. Base on my readings if the mosfets are busted meaning they can not handle the current load maybe you can replace it with a higher capacity mosfet. I'm not an expert on this one but just maybe it would do.

@@RollyPetz Thank you for your reply. There was few problems that could have caused short, we now found the problem 9pin connector middle pin was bend touching other pin. This what was causing the Mosfit to blow. Need to replace but the only information I’ve got is above and can’t find the Mosfit CHN829 OR CHN051

Hi Sr, Error 06 says "Battery is under-voltage", you may check setup if the correct battery voltage is set under PO3 config and check the battery if the voltage is also correct. Tnx.
