Here comes the rain... Rains for us all... But when it does..whos there for you? This is the message i feel... Love this song so much cause its simple yet deep
Re-watching your reaction btw. As I wanted to give it a second sensible watch. His best songs are 'Belter' at TRNSMT live and Lullaby at Barrowlands also live. He is way better live, one of the few performers now and in history who is, as he gets the crowd going and he doesn't lose things vocally live. I for one would apporeciate those reactions. To tell you in advance, a Belter means a great person in Glasgow
You should do a full album reaction to his first album Erratic Cinema. It only has 9 songs and is a little over 30 minutes but it is so good! Also his live performances are amazing!
Oh wait.. sorry.. ye right in why you'd think 80s etc gerry does sample songs from that era .... Even earlier actually.. i can sense you feeling that nostalgic pang..thats what he does well..even in his original music..it feels somewhat... familiar ❤
Oh, I forgot to say before 'Canter' isn't a Scottish word, it's a well used English word. It comes from Horses. Horses trot at their slowest pace (above walking), they then Canter which is a half run, ie an easy run. Gallop is next up, which is a full on run for a horse,. If someone says I can do that at a Canter, it means they can do it easily without even trying fully. In human terms a trot is fast walking, a canter is a jog and galloping is running

His new album is basically a concert recording, the crowd and the crowd interaction enhances the music. Gerry is a top class performer.
