great idea with the gift giving using paper bags. I usually only use reuseable bags at the grocery store but always see people getting rid of the brown bags on a local neighborhood site. I will definitely do that for any gift giving in the future. I have always loved homemade way of doing things and it looks like you put more thought into it. Choosing the washi tape to add to the present opposed to using wrapping paper that's already has design on it. I like hearing what people do in their lives to be more sustainable. It helps me be more aware of the things I bring into the house that may not be so eco-friendly and rather wasteful to the environment.

Another good tip for reusing is keeping the elastic bands that your vegetables come with sometimes (broccoli, lettuce, etc.) and using those next time you need to tie something together instead of buying a pack of them!
Basil is really easy to grow! Throw an entire pack of seeds into a 12” diameter pot, water daily in full filtered sun, and you will have basil for a good long time!

this could be totally wrong and just the whole "everyones life is better thru social media" phenomenon but you seem to have such a healthy relationship with food and it is so inspiring to see. im in recovery rn for an eating disorder and your grocery haul included so many of my fear foods but knowing that most people can eat all of those things without feeling guilty or worrying over what they might do to your body is really comforting. i know that probably sounds stupid because it's literally just a grocery haul, but this was kind of a wake up call for me for some reason. when i saw you bought three chocolate bars, my heart subconsciously started racing and all i could think was "oh my god, how can someone have three chocolate bars and not worry about eating all of them???" but you were happy and excited to have them, and that was like...woah. i know it's a small thing and it wasnt your intention to make a grocery haul some kind of life changing thing haha, but i just felt like i had to tell you that it made me feel really good. so thank you :)
Claudia I HIGHLY recommend getting a lemon basil plant, it just tastes like regular basil but the fragrance the leaves have it AMAZING. I throw it in everything sauce, on top of homemade pizza, pasta SO GOOD, and so fun to go pick your own fresh basil for each dish, from one plant mom to another check it out :))
i love using butcher paper for wrapping gifts!! it’s affordable and super easy to use unlike some wrapping paper. you can also use fun tape or doodle on it
