Johnny’s giant rex shouldn’t have been able to attack over dupe frog in game 2. It only gains attack if it’s summoned off of its own effect, but it was normal summoned.
@@BoredBricks Yeah but the Paleo player could have caught the mistake too. Ultimately it was everyone's fault (both duelists and the judge) that the misplay went uncorrected
Giant Rex - “If this card is banished: You can Special Summon this card, and *if you do*, this card gains 200 ATK for each of your banished Dinosaur monsters.” It was normal summoned...
How did giant Rex kill dupe frog? Rex's attack is the same as dupe's defense, so nothing should have happened, right? Someone tell me if I'm missing something, but when a monster attacks a defense position monster with defense equal to the attacking monster's attack, nothing happens. Do they not know that or what?
Everyone assumed Rex gained atk for every banished card to beat over the dupe, but that isn't the case since Rex was just normal summoned and not special summoned from being banished
I thought Titan eff will be missed timing if the last thing happened is not a thunder activated effect. Micheal could just activate crackdown or Lilith to make Titan missed timing.
@@Orfeh9999 But a trap isnt a quick effect. It is all based on turn priority and giving the opponent the window to activate an effect. Titan doesn't give the opponent any window because it is an effect that responds directly to a previous effect as a quickie

if he negated hawk, then the thunder player would have still had to attack the dupe frog with colossus, and the frog player would have gotten swap frog back to hand by toad's effect. unless the thunder player had a different normal summon that could attack directly, he wouldnt have lost right then, he would have just made a new toad next turn and been in the same situation again

Unlucky. Called by the grave, evenly, cosmic, twin, everything.
usually you don't want to see all of those in your hand at once, it just happened to work out for him here
also a mistake (in not responding to a thunder with titan on the field when he could have) and a "cheat", being the attack boost to giant rex

lol Johnny cheated with Giant Rex, it only gains boost after it comes to field from banish zone.
