It's crazy how many diverse decks can emerge in this format. It's really nice.

Then you get orcust and sky striker that say he were you trying to play yugioh???
A diverse format is how it should be. Makes everyone feel included in the format
Can we all take a moment to appreciate all the rouge decks in this tournament but
dunno; saw quite a lot of blue
Awesome game.
The Mekk-Knight guy did so many good choices and played really paciently, analising everything.
Yang Ling was very good too.
I appreciated this match-up.
Ikr. It feels like Shannon really knows the ins and outs of his deck that he only have to focus on the opponents actions and play accordingly.
Truly a master of columns.
No he didn't he could have moved avram with indigo since avram didn't had a trap in his zone...
Then used violett for another indigo and with that put spectrum supreme in the former avram zone...
Iperia does get u a draw but u could just as well play the striker engine since it grants u more and even can bait a handtrap
His deck loses to ash and an opponent who knows thqt thevonky good target is morning star every time...
Orcust lunalight would still shred him and although i ve played a lot mekk knight pure i think mekk invoked is the stronger going second deck
By the way draco ruins his deck since u can t play around cards which shoot ur backrow from grave

A beautiful game by both players
Scape Goat is actually pretty good in trap decks. It prevents the opponent from OTKing you when they play red reboot. and the following turn you have the trap you set through your opponents red reboot.

That Solemn would have ended Banisher's non-existent life.
Shannon is a beast
Paleozoic player was extremely respectful of shannons cards. One of the greatest matches ive ever watched.

Damn. Did Yang really have to negate those 2 when he had double toad? 2 very good players. GGs.
Honestly, it wouldn't have mattered. All Shannon had to do was beat over Mistarboy and wipe out the Toads. Yang couldn't let that happened so he HAD to negate. Shannon just had all the answers.
I feel so bad for that Dupe Frog in Game 3, Fortune Lady Light has the same issue ;-;
All the fortune ladies have that problem xD

Yeah When effects shouldn't even be a thing, missing the timing adds just another layer of complexity and frsutration to the game
@@johnyarin8417 it's optional when effects. Mandatory when effects are fine and can never miss timing.

I don't think Paleo has ever played Extravagence for the record. The advantage you generate off Toad outweighs Extravagence a lot
But you play 3 Toad so you shouldn't have to fear banishing it right?
@@haruhirogrimgar6047 banishing just one of them would hinder your deck so much tho... as you can see the deck can blow through 2 toads a turn
@@lucasl9632 The last time I saw someone end on 3 they got Ra Sphere Moded. The only time I have faced frogs with Toad legal has been under link format. So the most I ever see is 2 toads and plenty of traps which does them fine.

Spectrum Supreme attacks directly if your opponent doesn't control cards in the same column
Read avramax again. Only stops attacking other monsters, not direct attacks.

NexXo1337 swap frog gives you an additional normal summon of a frog that’s not himself

Around 17:35 is that not a missplay? Toad leaves the field so he is no longer in the same column as the indigo that was special summoned from secrets, that means memory should have been negated right?
Secrets reads that the monster effect has to be acitvated in the same coloumn as a mekk knight. Even tho it was tributed, when it activated it was in a coloumn.
No missplay there. Also works against hieratic seals btw :)

Uh well as said above it does negate the effect and not the activation.
It only determines wether to negate or not depending on where the monster is/was during time of activation.

1st normal was swap frog. Dumped to special summon, effect swap frog to normal again
