Started back in 2014 when friends prompted me to. Took a break around '16, and then restarted in 2019. Man those were the years, especially during covid-19. All my homies were into it, and boy the experience was amazing. The timely wars, the monthly CWL wars, the fights, the disputes, the laughs and tears... now pretty much everyone quit. These days I just look at the old discord server and our wars and stuff and shed tears of gratitude. I miss those days...
For people who don't know: speedrunning clan games is just skipping tasks and passing only builder village ones, because it's the fastest ones (i do it sometimes) Pushing, in one interpretation, refers only to players with low th level and it's a nice playing style, it's testing skills in battle with stronger players; th9 legend here, hello
well, I usually just find the task with largest point with minimum efforts.. for example a task that can be completed in 1 attacks (for home base missions), and task with largest points for builder base.. If I luckily get good tasks, I usually finish it around 2 hours
For a few years I only used goblins. Raiding villages for gold and elixir and then leaving before activating the bases shield. Three starring lower or rushed villages with goblins, king and a queen was very lulzy.
The Lurker: the clannmate who opts out of war, doesn't chat, doesn't donate much but also doesn't ask for donations much, but is active enough in clan games to not be kicked

I mean, I just restarted playing and at th 7 I can't really donate to the th 9-13 players in my clan, but in return I don't request troops and just fill my cc with raid medals in clan wars. And since the other similar game to it i played (rest in peace, star wars commander) was sadly shut down, i just had this one left. But i still remember the first time I saw coc, a classmate showed it to me when i was 8 on our local swimming pool. It was stormy and we had to leave, but while we waited for the thunder to stop, he showed it to me. As i got home i grabbed my tablet and installed it. Good old days
I started playing in late 2012, I was about 8 years old when I started playing. Long ago, and me being the kid I was decided to remove literally every object on my base (even limited time ones) up until about 2015-2016. Sucks to have so many missing obstacles I once had.

So far I've punished two rushers. Both were TH10, my level, but the first one clearly depended on his clan to even to anything considering he used a Wall Wrecker to destroy my base at near max TH9. His base had everything but a couple traps and army camp/barracks at lvl 1; 3 starred him easily as revenge. The second guy was at TH10, but very much rushed. Most defenses were at lvl 3 or 4, most of his walls were still lvl 6, and his storages were also around 5 or 6. 3 starred him as well after he did little damage to my base. Moral: DO NOT SKIP ON YOUR DEFENSES, unless you like being crushed by the same person you just attacked.
@@fighter5583 I check daily for all my defenses. I am rarely even allowed to attack (once every week or so). Even when I do get an opportunity, they almost never have any resources / trophies, or are way stronger then anything I can hope to defeat. The search function costs ~1000 gold at my TH, and it is much better.
@@fighter5583 the only time revenge actually works is when you are very low in trophies and farming (like with Barch), since people attack more often and hence don't have shields.
@@codinghub3759 1000 gold is cheap change compared to what you use it for. I'm waiting for my 7 day shield to get off cooldown so I can focus on my xbows and inferno towers.
Story time here: Around 2012-14 when I lived in Malaysia, I used to watch my oldest brother and his friends play Clash of Clans. He had an account called ‘hero’ that was the ‘best’ in the clan (it was th11 last time I saw it). When I turned 8 years old, I got to create an account which I named it Prince. Then he got robbed when he was coming back from work and he no longer had a phone to play COC in which was a bummer because when he got a new phone, he lost all his information and basically had to start over.
For town hall 8 and 9, it seems like everyone just uses 10 tanks like dragons or pekkas and just zaps big defenses. It’s really annoying, and for town hall 8 especially there should be a shield so that air defenses can’t be zapped
For the record e drag is one of the easisy to max and they deal a lot of dmg also some rushed th11+ dont have max troups bc for strategys you need like 10 or more different type of troups and e drag works very good then infernos are not single bc thats one of the only ways to counter edrags
I prefer using LavaLoon if the war is already decided, i.e. we are absolutely certain we will win or lose. Since I am the highest TH in my clan, the war usually depends on whether I, or the other clan's #1 can do a better attack. So I use E-drags in those cases, to be 100% certain its a 3 star.
Intresting tip to figure out if a base is old check the tag generally old bases have less in the tag or are just all letters it wasn't until later that numbers became much more common in tags.

The Glass Cannon: The guy who upgrades almost nothing but their troops and heroes. Leaving their defenses at very low level. Any excess resources they have is used to upgrade walls instead.
I remember when I was really old and when I discovered more base designs so I dont ha e to remember the original when just having fun building a base I did that. It was no stress and sometimes the base looked pretty. Sometimes it was even more effective than the original.

Now i will say i use E-drags a ton now part of it i am no good at attacks so it helps to use something that generally gets you at least two stars. It also helps fix the last few things of when i rushed years ago.

the main problem with playing "traditionally" is that maxing the lab always takes much longer than the buildings. so if you're just waiting for the lab you might as well get the walls done while you're at it. the real question is if you just wanna leave the builders sitting around for several months or instead move on to the next town hall. over time this problem can compound and your walls / lab will be several levels behind, i wonder if that counts as "rushed"? my personal recommendation for "trad" players is to focus the lab on a specific army composition first, and to move on to the next th as soon as your builders are done. sure you'll leave a lot of troop levels behind, but you'll still have the troops that matter to you. imo it's much better than waiting [5 YEARS!] to get to th14. i also recommend that you always focus your cwl medals / magic items / gems / real $$ on the lab

If I see that heavenly God send of a notification that tells me that clan games have started, I immediately log on and start grinding those points. if I don't max out during clan games I feel like a disappointment, and I feel disappointed whenever nobody else continues to do the same, and we are stuck at tear 2. This is also why I FREAKING LOVE seasonal challenges too. They are like clan games all for me! Clan-games are god in clash of clans form.
The self dependent one : makes 2 acc, rushes 1 but maxes some troop in rushed acc to get quick donation when u the second acc requires it ,and maxes second acc with help of rushed one
I used to be a trophy pusher back in th 7 and 8. I ONLY used dragons and attacked on the bases with their air defences under construction lol... I remember winning a 47 trophy battle and reaching cyristal 2 in th 7, which a little crazy in my opinion 🤣🤣

We have this guy in our clan that's max th13 right? BUT my guy's base is fricking rushed as hell, he only has max storges, and collectors, and barracks. That's literally all that he has that's actually maxed but everything else is either level 1-3 like he just doesn't upgrade his stuff and when war comes he just says this: "can i plz join war i'm th13" and when we don't add him into war he's like: "why u no add me into war? i'm a th13"
I started clash around 2020 and I rushed bases and did not care that much about upgrades then I joined my friends clan and he told me to start focusing a bit more on upgrades and I listened to him and I’m doing better at defending and a bit better on attacking

I always want to do at least 1500-2000 points in Clan Games, when the busy week comes out, because I don't want to hurt my clan with smaller rewards

The low attacker is understandable if you're in CWL and the top 5 players of the other clan are max TH14s and your clan are only TH12s

I used to be a trophy pusher back in th 7 and 8. I ONLY used dragons and attacked on the bases with their air defences under construction lol... I remember winning a 47 trophy battle and reaching cyristal 2 in th 7, which a little crazy in my opinion 🤣🤣

I used to be the low attacker when I didn't care that I was rushed but now I'm working on my th10 base and trying to get to a maxed th10 base
I confess, I am addicted to finish the clangames first, it usually takes a few hours to get the maximum points.
I finished clan games in a small 1-2 hours without any gems and only 2 training potions

I dont know when I started playing, but I still remember attacking enemy base where when deploying troops it show red on its target. It was my first account but unfortunately it lost forever because it was not linked to any account. And the phone is dead.

I started playing in 2014, but at the time I didn't know the decorations were limited so I just removed them :'( . And to not cause me to remember those moments I just decided to remove every single limited decoration

I’ve been playing Clash of Clans since 2013. I don’t have any of the old obstacles to prove it tho (because I liked to have my base clean).
We have this guy in our clan that's max th13 right? BUT my guy's base is fricking rushed as hell, he only has max storges, and collectors, and barracks. That's literally all that he has that's actually maxed but everything else is either level 1-3 like he just doesn't upgrade his stuff and when war comes he just says this: "can i plz join war i'm th13" and when we don't add him into war he's like: "why u no add me into war? i'm a th13"
I started clash around 2020 and I rushed bases and did not care that much about upgrades then I joined my friends clan and he told me to start focusing a bit more on upgrades and I listened to him and I’m doing better at defending and a bit better on attacking

I had Halloween headstone but I must’ve removed it sometime in the years that I’ve played. I think the oldest thing I have is a whole bunch of the 2015 trees or maybe the cauldron? Idk how old the cauldron is but I have one of those.

Kinda funny how I have NO idea when I started playing. All I remember is that TH10 was the max TH level. I then ended up losing that account because I was too dumb to create a supercell account
