Hi, I've submitted my study permit application on 27th Aug got the Biometrics email on 28th but on 29th I got an email saying that the status of my application has changed but when I got into my GCKey account nothing changed. Can you please tell if this a ghost update? If so, is it normal to receive a ghost update this early in the application process?
Hi miss , when you say GU is a good sign do you mean, it’s a good sign that you may get your Study permit or it’s a good sign that a IRCC agent has take over your application?

Your emails about profile submission is not Ghost update, it is just confirmation. But the email which suggests your application changed sounds like a Ghost update.

Ircc will ask for any additional details if required..I also have one mistake in my application form..Sow when I contacted, the officer just told if anything is needed they will revert
Hello, Congrats on AOR. Since they have requested for PCC, for now you should only upload PCC. If there are any other missing documents or mistakes IRCC will request you for those specific documents. Good Luck

Yesterday i got two ghost updates nd today they need some client enquiry documents because i fill out the web form to add my wife in this application however I can’t add my wife because she got some medical issues.

@@v6kuchi the ghost updates was due to the call of IRCc , and I'm still waiting the background checks doesn't finished it's anormal , but those of the open work permit finished and I received the open work permit, my application was received the 27 January
At first my study permit got refused I didn't receive any ghost updates at that time.. So I reapplied again.. that's where I got my first ghost update...and I'm really nervous.

Hard to say, need more details. Generally GU is a good sign post AOR.
