Oh cmon man does it get any better than two incredible woman incredible singers doin it better than I have ever heard! Bring a grown man to his knees…. RIP Natalie
This song is from the C.D. that came out in 1994 called "Country,Rythm and Blues". My husband & I got it the day that it came out and we played everyday and danced to it in our livingroom. This song was one of our very favorites. Sadly I lost my husband to prostate cancer in 2009 but for the Grace of God I can still listen to this song and feel my husbands arms around me while we dance.
Reba's pure, passionate voice tugs at the heartstrings. Natalie's rich, resonant singing nibbles at the ears. The two combined means you die of blood loss while not really giving a damn about dying. For this, I sentence these two to a lifetime of singing duets.
A woman who truly knew her art. She was so talented across many genres. She was music. She lived it and breathed. R.I.P. to a great talent Miss Natalie Cole and for her to welcome Reba into the mix was just divine
Wait until you hear Lenny Welch's version " For the very first time in your Life " you just haven't heard anything just yet. You'll say " What was I thinking??? "
What a delight to stumble across this....two giant talents of different genres you'd never think to put together, and they absolutely ROCK this great standard song....
I had a crush on Natalie when she did the Unforgettable video with her late father and I have been in love with Reba for more than 25 years. I remember when these 2 beautiful ladies sang this song and I could never stop playing it. I just now found out about the loss of Natalie. We will all miss your beautiful voice. RIP
WOW, what a fantastic version, and performance by these two GREAT ladies. We are gonna miss Natalie so much, and Reba is second to none, IMO. Nobody does it better than these two!
I love Natalie cole one true legend just like her dad and another legend Reba McIntyre two beautiful voices more music like this to inhabit more love god knows we need it
I play alto sax. There is no one better to listen to than Welsh to hear the movements in a song. He is a treasure to me. I am 65 and remember his vinyl records on sale at JC Penny’s. I was lucky enough at a young age to get an album to hear over and over. We had so little to listen to in those days before internet and RUclips. Thank you Lenny and whoever replied to my post.
I Know that these two Wonderful women sings the hell out of this Classic 🤗🤗 . Natalie Cole is Unforgettable and Reba McIntyre is fantastic 👍👍 I'm in luv with song ....Thank you Queen's 😀
I'm a 29 year old black man and when I 1st heard reba was her theme song on her show and I instantly fell in love wit her 🤣🤣🤷🏿♂️ her voice is so perfect
I bought this as a cassette tape, lol, u know how long ago that was, always enjoyed this song with two great female vocalists. Natalie Cole has always been my favorite I guess because we share the same name, however always enjoyed Reba, another great duet is Travis Tritt with Patti Labelle, Moore and Twitty
This may be the definitive cover of the popular Lenny Welch song: 'Since I Fell For You". Natalie's *fresh new* intro ("You ... you ... you ...you") alerts listeners that something special is coming. And *she and Reba deliver!!* Like, Wow! I'm really feeling Reba's *phrasing,* and her *beautiful* modulations in vocal *pitch/tone.* Reba's country singing is on another level!! (Just as Natalie promised).
I Know that this song is very well done by these two Wonderful singer's 👍👍 Natalie Cole is Unforgettable and Reba McIntyre is fantastic 🤗🤗 .. thank you Queen's 😀
This comes from a video of duets by country and blues/Nashville and Memphis performers. From a review of Rhythm Country & Blues Why this hasn't been released on DVD is a complete mystery. Al Green with Lyle Lovett - Wow. . Little Richard with Tanya Tucker. Check out the drummer. Sam and Conway on Midnight train to Georgia. Natalie Cole and Reba McIntyre staggering. The Pointer Sisters and Clint Black etcc. This is one of the big mysteries of life why this is a such a little known project. ...
Never thought I'd love this fave of mine by anyone else but Sam Cooke. But, WOW. These gals rock it! Loved Reba's TV show. Great comedienne, too. Double whammy. But, their version of this song is magnificent!
