Welcome! How to coffee dye paper when you don’t have space to spread them out or don’t want to put in the oven. Quick & easy to dye! My shop www.Etsy.com/s...
Good morning Jo Ann, I also coffee and tea dye my papers this way as well. I'll make a batch with both coffee and tea dyed papers together. Then another batch of coffee dyed, then another batch of tea dyed. I live in 🥵 hot Las Vegas. So once I separate my papers, I'll put them outside on a cookie sheet. They normally dry in less than 1hr. I'll dye at least 50 sheets at a time. It's definitely a process. But it's so worth it in the end. Have a great day and week. As always TFS 🦋💜
Hi, Kem! Thanks for the input! When you say seperate them do you mean the coffee ones from the tea ones or all of them? I just leave the whole stack in the pan. Jo Ann💕
@@JunkJournalTreasures I separate all the papers one by one. Then lay them on a few cookie sheets outside. So once I drain the coffee & tea, I'll individually separate each paper. I'll place usually 20 on each cookie sheet. Normally within 10 min the 1st 5 to 8 papers will be dry. So I'll remove the 5-8 dry papers then wait then remove the next 5-8 etc. I also dry them in the oven as well. I like the oven method, just because it's faster and I don't have patients lol P.S. All this week in Las Vegas will be between 110° - 118°. Way too hot🥵. So it won't take long to dry papers this week. Lol
@@shabbyrosecreationsbykem so almost the same only you divide into a few batches, cool! Have you ever tried leaving them in one pan? I thought Florida was hot, yikes, 110 and higher. Stay cool, my friend!! Jo Ann 🦋💕🦋
I do it very similar to this but your way looks a bit easier 😁 I shall be trying this. I put mine in the airing cupboard. I have to keep checking them otherwise dry too much 🤣
Thanks for sharing ;-) I was always afraid that all the papers got stuck in this plate...so, thanks, I will try tomorrow ! Take care and thank you, Natalie
Hi! The salt absorbs the wet coffee and just gives those areas a slightly more vintage look..it adds little marks. Hope that made sense, lol! tfw Jo Ann xx
so… u let me dry while still in the “wet”stack? and as they dry u take the top 2-3 (or dry ones) off. then repeat. do the ones on the bottom get weak and tear? or moldy? this is a great way to do this! thx dear
Yes, just drain the coffee out of the pan and just leave them all in the pan to dry. As they dry they’ll ‘unstick’ themselves, loosen up. They dry faster outside in the sun but they’ll also dry inside, just takes longer. 🌞😊🌞
Yes I’ve done it like this
Much better isn’t it?! Jo Ann xx
I’ll have to try this. Tfs
Works great!! 🤗
Great idea. Thanku.x
Thanks Anna! I love not having to spread them all out! tfw Jo Ann xx

Hi Natalie! I was afraid they would stick too but as they dry they completely loosen up, top ones first. tfw Jo Ann xx
I have done it this way also
I love just leaving them in the pan!! tfw Jo Ann xx
What is the salt for and the sprays?
Can you tell us what the salt does? I might have missed it. Thank you. I

What is the salt for
Hi! The salt absorbs the coffee where it touches and gives it little marks. A slightly more vintage look. xx
