  • Confidence Intervals allow us to get a better idea of just how accurate our estimation of the mean difference is. That is, when we get two samples and compare them, they may not accurately represent the populations. Therefore, a confidence interval tells us how close we probably got to the true difference between the two populations we tried to represent with our samples.
