Dorian, as voiced by Matt: "Missing you all too... don't die." Orym, about 24 hours later: **drops the sending stone onto the ground as he's breathing his last breath.**
@@captin3149 kinda but it’s not really close. Vex was 28 at the end of campaign 1. Half elves live until roughly 180. Keyleth on the other hand was 23 at the end of campaign 1. She also has the timeless body trait which means she ages 1 year, every 10 years. So Keyleth has probably another 1570 years left on Exandria.
If there was some practical way to go about it I'd definitely have preferred that too. But I get why that would be a massive headache to try and work it in. Between Marisha having to randomly take on a role she's not played in a long time, without really even knowing who she is all these years later, and not knowing what Matt intends for her to be able to say or do- even being texted the responses would be cumbersome to try and RP I imagine.
Matt can't predict that Orym would ask to have a sending sent to Keyleth, and it's just more expedient for him to respond, to send Marisha a text, in the moment, and then sit in silence as Marisha reads the text and then does as instructed.
It’d be awesome if they could record a Marisha as Keyleth s basically reciting the same lines and edit it in. Maybe as a “special edition” kind of thing one day.
I was kind of hoping the same thing. I don't think it would be too much of a hassle for her to do. Laura was able to jump between Vex and Imogen pretty easily. I bet Marisha is enough of a pro to do it as well
@@adamramos3217 Laura had a script that was written before hand for her to read and just do Vex's voice. The Keyleth scene was not done before hand. Matt could not predict that Liam would want a message to go to Keyleth and have a response ready. It was done in the moment.
I would have loved for Marisha to be Kiki again but it's really interesting to hear Matt's take since Marisha has full attendance and we've never had the opportunity
Marisha wouldn't know what Keyleth could or could not do, so its hard for her to be responding as Matt might want to respond with some info that only He knows.

Because at this point, much as it pains me to say it, VM are all NPCs now, their story has been told and it's in Exandria's past, they're basically more fleshed out versions of Allura and Kima
@@rhyder7715 maybe for immediate brevity for the sake of the current game but not actually NPCs otherwise. So maintain that GM control I always will prefer Matt after the campaign is done to take some ownership back of the characters, whether that is historical importance or npc royalty. i love how mariaha's smiles when matt doing keyleth.
We Criters are going to go bonkers when Dorian comes back.
It’s still so weird to me that Kiki is the only member of VM to be pretty much the same age as they were in Campaign 1
Well, Vex too.
In a far future she will be the only one alive.
But I don't think we will get to the point in any campaign.

Orym isn't the only one missing Dorian...
remember, if you are not actively playing a character, it is an npc under the DM's control.
I was hoping that Matt would have given Marisha a text on what to say and let her voice Keyleth, but I understand. Just being a fan boy

Yet has no trouble sending a message to Dorian without a piece of paper. Not good with words my butt.
Marisha looked so happy to see Keyleth's reply!

Same. It would have been so pretty :')
I miss Dorian so much too.
He had her inflections down goddamn
Its so magical when Matt does any PC xd
"Dont die"
*sobbing noise *
Love all of this.
dude i 100% ship dorian and orym ❤️❤️
My ship was Dorian and Laudna, but Dorian is really shippable with everyone. Such a sweet boy ❤️❤️❤️
I assumed keyleth turned intonstone as the result of the attack on the air ashari guess i was wrong?

Someone else has already said it and I'll repeat it:
Characters that aren't controlled by the players are controlled by the GM. Even PC's.
