often forgotten about is riding frostallion also make player's weapon do ice damage, if you want a fighting chance against jetragon, this is one of the ways to do it, especially if you have a rocket launcher. Just watch out for those fire balls.
Bro love the vids, quick tip though: your pal will regen hp quite quickly if you retreat it before it dies and send out another, so never let them die just recycle them for waaay longer lifespan on the battlefield
I was able to defeat two very hard bosses by building a fort nearby and luring them there into an attack by all my best pals. I had a base full of boss levels and Anubis took them out in less than a minute. But it weakened him enough I was able to trap him inside the base. Big pals get stuck in walls sometimes and I was able to shoot him at point blank range until he was defeated. Tried capturing same strategy but he’s too strong. I need to level up more. Same fort strategy worked on others. I may try it on these bosses next. Oh and if you die in battle while your pals are still fighting then you can respawn right back at your attack fort, pick up your kit and get back to fighting. I have not yet tried using all my pal team as base pals. They are even more powerful than the bosses. They might last longer.
You get a catch bonus if they aren't attacking anything and throw it at their back. Not a big bonus, but it does help, caught many Pal's that way without having to lower their HP any.
I bred up two Suzaku with Ferocious, Musclehead, Swift and Burly Body, got them both up to level 40+ (one lv 43 and one 48), invested the souls to max their stats and used them to great effect. Over 1.1k attack and 900 defense. Even then, and with the best shield and over 1500 armor rating I still had to rely heavily on the rocket launcher's knockdown effect to actually capture it without dying. Also I did ask that breeding without turning up the imagination speed. Needless to say after that I set incubation speed to instant for my next breeding programs lol.
You know the sad part is I didn't half it's health in damage with just my team of level 45 pals (well 1 at 45...the other's 41) a shoot gun and loads of fire arrows. I only lost because your can't really health without the use of pals and I didn't have any at the time.
I'm pretty new to the game because I'm on PS5 but I had no problem beating Frostalion using just 1 pal, Fellbat. I'd bred it while I was still around 35 and by the time the game was available for PS5 the legendary bosses were 55. I just gave my pal some fire skills to do more damage then each hit from me or my pal gives lifesteal. Once I saw it was getting low I put away my pal and with the ring of mercy kept it on 1 hp. I have watched most of your palworld videos so what you figured out later on I was putting some of it to use earlier in my play through so thanks for the fun informative videos.
Ignis Rage is only good on very large opponents or a small army. Hitting is so hard with it that i personally dont care about its dmg and switch in something reliable.
You should build an op breeding farm and level up your good pals as much as you can giving them the best traits, would be a long series but sounds interesting. I don’t have the game yet but maybe you could automate it?
I only just found out I screwed up my world settings, so my legendary assault rifle was doing 1-2 dmg per bullet and fighting Frostallion/any legendary took literally 20 minutes, but after I figured out my mistake and swapped the settings, now I can catch Frostallion in a reasonable time and my Pals don’t feel super underpowered anymore despite all the breeding 😂
This just shows how big of a difference levels make in this game. It’s only 5 levels above you and your Ignis, Ignis has type advantage and good passives and it’s STILL getting spanked. I find it ridiculous yet challenging at the same time.😭😭
Only cooling are actually the only reliable cooler in the game. And Frostallion is not just one of the only ones out there, he is by far the best. If a cooler has any other skill, they will pretty much never cool the fridge, which ends up spoiling food all the time anyway. Frostallion can have level 5 cooling, together with workspeed, the food in the fridge last for an insane amount of time.

By leveling your statue to increase capture rate with Lifmunk effigies will help with the Legendary. They are easy to find in the night.
If you recall your pals during battle before they die, they heal up in the sphere while you use a different one!

Under the right circumstances, mostly involving dust, devils and forest fires, you can actually get a flaming tornado in nature

You need a Galeclaw glider and a Cluster Sphere Launcher, it is far too much fun and so wasteful.

I think the AI understands that if youre dead its over so often youll get aggro if you just look at the opponent.
