He threw the ball away in the redzone knowing he didnt have an open player, and instead of taking a chance and possibly throwing a pick, dropping a funble on a strip sack. 22-28 and we needed a FG to get to 2 possessions, and he threw it away right away. 100% believe that was an intentiional 500IQ play.

    I think the Vikes could put a Bills vs Jags level beating on the Jets in London. The Jets might be worse than the Giants, and with Sam now 5 weeks in, with Addison back, facing the team that did him dirty, and the defence likely at full strength, and coming off a little wake up call, things could get ugly.
    Sam might effectively end Rodgers career, and Saleh's tenure as Jets HC.
    I'm not sure what excuse these dudes could come up with if the Vikes lay a 20 or 30 point beat down on the Jets this weekend. They'll probably be too busy choking on their breakfast cereal.

    Darnold is playing better than Mahomes. Fact.

  • @robe2504
    @robe2504 Час назад

    I'm absolutely with you on the eye roll. These guys are just so desperate to have their original opinions validated. But they are so wrong, and now their logic is backwards. Darnold has only been with KOC for about 4 months, and only played 4 games, mostly without half of his weapons. Darnold should get better as the playbook becomes more instinctive, and his confidence grows with his new team mates.
    And there are 10-12 new players in the Vikes defensive rotation - players that largely didn't even know each other 4 months ago, or the Vikes incumbents, or the Flores scheme. They should just get better from week to week as they build trust and combinations with each other.
    I'd argue what we're seeing now is the Vikes floor, not the ceiling. With an overhyped and impotent Jets on the schedule this week, and the whole bye to prep for the Lions at home, followed by 6 or 7 games against teams with poor records - the NFC North could be over before the Vikes see the Packers or Lions again. The way their schedule looks right now, all things being equal, this team might not lose until week 18, when they'd probably bench the starters after a quarter like the 49ers did last season.

  • @Jdv666

    Can someone please explain what "pumkin watch" means. I don't understand how people talk these days. Why don't they just say what whatever word they come up with means instead of creating some goofy term that only they know.

  • @derekrau8236
    @derekrau8236 13 часов назад +2

    The Vikings system is not the same as the 49ners. The Vikings are a pass first offense, the 9ners offense is all built of the run. It’s more like the Rams.

  • @jesseprice3622
    @jesseprice3622 3 часа назад

    It's funny... to hear about the talk about the beginning of the Vikings schedule, they were projected to only beat the Giants. Translation a 1-3 record. No way would they beat the 49ers, the Texans, and Green Bay... but they did. To only trail 3:26 in four games against any 4 teams in the NFL is insane. Did they call for a pumpkin watch for Huston last year? Better yet, when GB was ass the 1st half of last year, did they call for this watch when the team got better? No, because it was GB, not the Vikings. Give credit, where credit is due.
    It sounds like they are wishing and waiting for the wheels to fall off. This is proof of how spinning false narratives by the media influence perceptions of the public.
    Now throw in the fact that a crucial corner back was killed. This team is not the old Vikings. They have a top 5 offense and defense. Even special teams have been above average (the Nailor debacle was only because Powell was hurt a few plays earlier).
    Who looks at this team and says this is a bad team? Someone who needs an eye exam and maybe a welfare check
