Mine went back reasons:
1. Stiching was off both shoes
2. Left toe box was skinny and off
3. Leather was different on both shoes

The white paint and glue on my shock drop pair was one of the worst pairs I’ve ever received I was pretty disappointed. You’d think the focus on the “og” build would also mean producing a quality product.

Just the tumbled leather on the 2018 pair makes them better. The elephant print on the 2018 pair being darker is a bonus too. Overall I feel many 2021-2022 releases started having much lower quality of leather… 2023 and 2024 releases got even worse. As the shoes got easier to cop, the quality decreased… can’t be a coincidence fam. They got greedy, making too many shoes and too many releases

This is the absolute truth. All them Jordan’s that come out 2000-2016. Had superior quality compared to the ones releasing now. Every big company in the whole wide world find ways to make the same product cheaper so they can save money. Jordan brand no different
I like the dark elephant print better on the black pair and the light elephant print on the white reimagined pairs. The dark elephant print goes better with the black. I am glad that they kept the midsole white and didn't hit us with the played out vintage midsole
My olive 9s were terrible. Had glue stains all over the place. Had to return them

Got mine from the shock drop today and the elephant on the toe; the actual cut of the material is uneven as fk between the 2 sneakers.. pisses me off.

One of my pairs was uneven cut and had bit of silvering on black black heel. Also one of my toe box has like a rough chip in center 😫😫😫could prob sand out but letting Nike deal w all THAT

Mine came messed up, chipped paint and one of the tongues is wavy with the red sticking up past the grey part of the tongue.

I agree. Tumbled leather isn't actually always better quality. You would need to slice it up to see the thickness of each to make a determination.
Got mine and had 2 defects on the left shoe in particular. Mass produced shoes= defects. That elephant print is definitely different on each shoe also. Not 100 % happy but still will rock em.

Got mine today. The “Nike Air” is off center on the back of the right shoe, stitching is bad and the toe box leather is wrinkled. On the left, Nike Air is centered and toe box leather is smooth. They are going back.

@ yeah. The midsoles are creased already, there was a few flaws on the paint like needle size bumps of paint, one spot the glue is a lil extra crazy, and I can’t find if it’s supposed to be like that or not but the suede toe cap is longer on one side next to the sharkfin

I noticed on some pairs there are small white specks on the black part of the midsole, don’t know if it’s paint or the clear coat but definitely noticeable if you look really close

I just got mines yesterday from the shock drop and I can agree with you on having defects. They are not bad at all but it’s most definitely some defects. Mainly loose threads on the first two eye lace holes but I’m thankful I’m gone double up🫡🫡💪🏾

My 2018 pair, the leather, was full of glitter. It wiped off but would come right back. I sold them joints when I heard these were dropping.
Got my pair today one little flaw I saw was a little glue stain on the back other than that they fire tho.

I realize the more you stare at these cement 3s is the more flaws you'll notice and surprise flaws will pop up the next day even after looking at it for hours from the day before, it's to the point where you're questioning your sanity 😂😂😂

If Nike had used the same elephant print from the 2018s but gave us the same cut on the 2024s, then it would be, in everybody’s perspective a fantastic shoe...but everbody wants to complain. Quality maybe off, but the 18s go super hard! Although, personally i believe the 24s are more my style. I think the younger generations of styling the 18s are accustomed to that shoe because the brain has been conditioned to that particular look.

2022 I pulled the trigger on my grail shoe black cement 3 off goat paid around 8 hundred dollars and when I received the shoe I wasn’t pleased I had never seen the shoe in had but right off rip I knew it wasn’t Og like stated on the box I was 6 when that shoe came out and that was my grail never owned it so when I got it I wore the shoe a few times and put it up then Nike released fire red 3 now that shoe took me straight back to the 80 this Jordan bc3 is the closest ever way better than 2018 in Chicago we call the 2018 elf shoe but the real fact is the reimagined is the best of all aj3.

There is no way the 2018 pair has better leather. The tumble on them is fake it’s literally pressed on and it’s stiff from all the plastic on top of it. The 2024 is softer because it doesn’t have pressed on tumble and doesn’t have the plastic layer over it. 2018 pair is straight cheeeeeeeeeeeecks lol
