- Finally the first pieces of white track have been installed on Thorpe Park's brand new roller coaster - Hyperia (Project Exodus)! So far two huge support structures for the rides turnaround section have been completed and track is ready to be installed up to a height of 165ft on this element alone! Eventually track will be built to a maximum height of 236ft, making Hyperia the tallest roller coaster in the UK (and the fastest!)

I drove past Thorpe park today, hyperia already looks huge and there’s only 3 big support beams

Thorpe park should put signs whilst going up the hyperial lift hill listing the different heights of the ride like what they have on The big one
So happy that my home park which is only 10mins away is getting a Mack coaster and it will be my first one.
Gosh it’s so close to SAW. I wonder how they’ll separate it, I know the trailer shows lots of trees. I hope so as the two rides are almost polar opposites colour wise. Nice that you’re keeping these videos going mate, appreciate the updates!

Would have liked to see white track go up Monday morning/ afternoon, typically Tuesday we headed to Skegness for the 1st time, and Wednesday Fantasy fear Island another 1st amusement park visit, planning on coming back down to monks walk again in November Jack another 👍 for this update

If you see how the track slots together, if they start one side, put the top on then go down the other they will not be able to put the track together.
I suspect what they will do is put the track up on both sides, then put the 'crown' on top from the top.
I am very jealous that you can work inside a theme park - would loooove to do my day job with a roller coaster being built in the background!
Also do we have a name for the insane twist? I love that recent coasters seem to be getting unique-ish elements like the Mosasaurus Roll on Velocicoaster and the Death Roll on Iron Gwazi, and with how unique this turn/twist is, it deffo deserves its own name - the Hyperia Underturn maybe? 🤷♂️

I’m obsessed with rollercoaster but it could be done by Christmas but then that mean that the track and trains with have to sit there till the open season
Yes I agree but you have to consider testing and an opening day opening, like Curse At Alton Manor. But i think it could be really nearly done
Probably late November to early December
I think it could be built before Christmas, but with final checks and testing leading into its opening day, maybe March/April sort of time. Exciting news!

How many trains do you think they will be running?
They have said it will run 2 trains but will probably be able to do a third aswell
2 trains for every coaster in the park (except saw and flying fish) :d

If the lift hill and station are 1 block section each, then it will only be able to run 2 unless the brake run is also 1 but it's highly unlikely they'll ever need to run 3 trains even if they could.

Random question. But how much do you reckon these construction workers get paid, because even your standard bricklayers, scaffolders etc. get decent money
I feel like because this is quite a technical and niche project they’re definitely being paid more than usual. And they already are in a very well paid trade.

No that element is only going to be 165 ft. So yeah if that was 236 ft it would be pretty small 😂
bet also incredbibly loud, you have the rollercoaster built, the station, truck drivers, right in corner gates, then people screaming on the open rides outside and ride itself, man i get a migrane

Does anyone know what the trains look like
It's manufactured by mack and its a hyper coaster, so similar to hypercoasters trains at land of legends in antayla in turkey 🇹🇷. I rode it front and back row recently and it was awesome.incredibly smooth and fast
