I own a Nexon. You are absolutely correct in all aspects. But you missed one point that is visibility. In this scenario Brezza beats Nexon because Nexon's thick 'A' pillar obstruct view while turning right especially in hilly turns.

I booked Brezza ZXI Automatic due to following reasons over the Nexon: 1. Engine smoothness is way better in Brezza (4 cylinder over the 3 cylinder engine of Nxon). Nexon engine noise is too much compared to brezza. Moreover, Maruti engines are highly refined and has less maintenance over the long run. 2. Low RPM performance is very nice. Nexon feels underpowered. 3. Buttery smooth steering. Nexon steering is bit hard in comparision. 4. Way more easy to drive than Nexon. I instantly felt confident while driving brezza. It gave better driver control. Nexon's bonet visibility is not that great compared with brezza. 5. Best in class mileage. Nexon mileage in normal driving conditions is always less than Brezza. 6. Reliable and smooth gearbox. (both automatic and manual) 7. Decent safety. 8. No issues on bumpy roads. I did test drive on bad roads and found it as good as Nexon. 9. Looks. Nexon back is horrible whereas Brezza back look is awesome. Some things I felt Brezza ZXI should have added as Nexon is having following features in same price range: 1. ORVM fold, unfold when locking, unlocking is not available. 2. Fog lamps not given. 3. Sound system could have been better. Nexon has best in class. 4. No armrest.
The steering is very smooth in Nexon at low speed...and drivability is better in Nexon on highways....and i m getting 16-17 milage in city and 20.5 kmpl on highway......... brezza perform better on hills only.... othervise Nexon is better

In petrol, you cannot compare Nexon's 3 cylinder with Brezza's 4 cylinder engine. Since, Maruti is incapable of designing and developing a BS 6 Diesel engine, we don't have a Diesel Brezza now. But in BS 4 times Nexon's power delivery was far more linear. In sport mode a diesel Nexon could zoom past a diesel Brezza in a jiffy.

Nexon is a better high way vehicle , driven in sports mode for quick pickup and once the desired speed is reached, switch to eco mode. That is the way to drive nexon ,purpose is high way. It ends here. In city nexon mileage is bad around 12 km per liter. Engine response is poor in city until the turbo activates. Same problem in hilly areas. Breeza is better in city, hills due to 4 cylinder but not as good as nexon in highway. Nexon seats and comfort is top class. Breeza seat thigh support is not good at all. Even sitting position is better in nexon .

Sir also mention how is driver visibility in both cars. which one is comfortable to drive that matters more, also about light. In my opinion Lighting of car should be considered in safety rating, because your not safe if you have minimum visibility at offer.
I have tried both. What you are talking about is active safety. Nexon is a passively safe car. But it loses out on active safety. The IRVM view of Nexon is compromised to the point that one has a vague idea of the oncoming traffic from behind which increases the risk of collision if i decide to change lanes. Brezza has a very good visibility from IRVM and the back traffic can be gauged properly.

So you missed 2 important points: 1. Nexon petrol mileage is very poor. Brezza gives 15-16 in city whereas Nexon does not give more than 12 max in city 2. Peace of mind, very important point. Tata has not so good service and reliability. Whereas MS is known for wide service network and bullet proof Japanese reliability and this factor is very important for people in Hills. I was not able to find a simple bolt 🔩 for my Nexon in Almora and had to go to Haldwani for repair.
still depends on which dealer has a better reach. I will eyes closed do the first engine oil change as per manual , gauge the initial service experience and then escalate to TaMo or like me ... be smart don't give the car for service , let them beg to call u for ratings and hindside go out of city parameters and get an engine oil and all other things changed in a trusted and most independent reliable workshop. Period.💡

Mileage figures are wrong. No Nexon gives 21kmpl or even 16-17 in normal driving. Every owner (if he's not biased ) that Nexon gives 12-13 in normal city usage. Maybe you calculated on a downhill and calculated Brezza mileage on uphill same road

I booked Brezza ZXI Automatic due to following reasons over the Nexon:
